You've clearly misunderstood what I said. To post this topic and then reply again you must have at least a passing interest. I, for example, also have a passing interest in Girlicious. I don't like their music but I find the whole Robin Antin/miniature PCD thing of some interest so I keep an eye on goings-on. If you didn't have any passing interest, this topic wouldn't be here.

A lot of times you can be a pretty okay dude with some good points to make, but in times like this, I just dont get you.... You seem to forget that this is an OPEN forum mate, a free-for-all.... I dont go into Artist Forums and slag them, because it's a given that it's an area for the fans, whereas, this isn't..... We seem to keep having this same old argument Jark, and I'm getting a little sick having to constantly repeat this point..... I just find it totally impossible to get my head around that you'd wade into a thread for an artist you have literally no interest in and start rolling your eyes and dissing the fact that the discussion is even occuring! It's the equivalent of me invading threads in the indie forum for artists I have no knowledge of or opinions on and telling you all there are more important things to discuss. :/

Didn't actually say that though.... Merely pointed out the FACT that a person getting chucked out of bloody manufactured group doesn't exactly have the same consequences for that group as a core songwriter leaving or being chucked out a band or a group, and offered examples such as The Beatles and Busted (both, POP GROUPS by the way) who imploded after losing a key member or two..... Well your comment is pretty invalid given that you know nothing about the context of the group. They're an urban group who now have more white members than they do black and have now stated that they're ditching urban music altogether. On top of that the girl in question who was ousted was the most capable singer by far; the entire dynamic of the group has completely changed as a result of this. So yeah, actually, in the context of Girlicious, it's a big thing. Bringing a classic band such as the Beatles into this is one hundred percent irrelevant given that nobody claimed it was as big a news as the departure of a Beatle.

You mean their record company has stated has stated that THEY are ditching the Urban element because it probably didn't shift enough units for the execs' liking...... All boils down to the same thing... These girls aint exactly writing their own music, they're being TOLD what to do by the record company..... So, my point stands, the component parts of this manufactured product are all interchangeable and can be replaced in the same way as replacing a fuse on a circuit board......
