I know, but I'm glad they didn't do the whole Betty/Daniel romance thing earlier - if they leave it till the last episode no one can complain

I just started watching the series two days ago and I'm already up to the recent episode. It was incredible! I sort of want the Betty/Daniel romance to happen, the way he was looking at her at the wedding was just lovely. At the end where Tyler had the gun, I knew when Wilhemina stepped in front of Clare he was going to shoot.
Argh where who what did he shoot, need to see next ep bad

I'm hoping he

shot himself

. I never liked him.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE SLATER!! It's just weird there is only one episode left, there are so many questions that I need answered

I was hoping for that as well, I don't like the character.

Oh and I completely forgot about

Mark seeing the Tweety Bird tattoo on Spencer! Took two years to find out who Amanda's dad was, but it was still great!

Has the whole amanda/daniel/tyler triangle suddenly been forgotten about?

The finale is today in America, so hopefully it's somewhere on the internet tomorrow. I can't believe it's coming to an end. :(

Can't believe I just watched the final episode - so sad :( Spoilers ahead!

I thought it was perfect. Everyone happy and getting what they wanted.

Keeping it open with Betty and Daniel was perfect. Now they can start afresh without Mode in the picture and see how things go in London.

Loved that they took the Ugly out of 'Ugly Betty'

I'm clearly rewatching the final ep again tonight!

The final episode was so sad, I admit I got tears in my eyes a few times. :( Spoilers ahead.

I loved how it was a happy ending for all of the characters.

I really liked the Daniel and Betty storyline. I was expecting them to kiss when they were in Trafalgar Square, but they should do well in London.

I'm sure I saw a slightly faded picture of what Betty looked like in the first season when she was on her way to the airport, that got a few tears in my eyes.

And I loved the ending where Ugly was taken out of 'Ugly Betty' so it was just 'Betty'.

I can't believe it's ended now though! :(

URGH another series is so needed :(

Lovely ending though, thought there would be more to the Wilhemina shooting but oh well was nice enough ^_^

Edit: Might be thinking too much into it but surely Alexis & Daniel should have been a page in that Editor & Chiefs book  forgot about her tbh would have been nice for her to have made an appearance for the final episodes, surely she must have been asked.

Edited by Simon.

There's so much potential for a movie now. Would be so good in a couple of years even.

I'm in tears - really I am. What an amazing last episode,

[spoilers]

"Betty" needs a TV series!! It was just perfect and beautiful. It's just amazing how the can wrap up so many endings in just one episode

Totally random - but a little bit from Daniels final editor's letter:

Since I've experienced so much attitude in my time at Mode, I'd like to posit an observation: One thing that is often lost in the changing of an attitude is the cause for that change. This is best understood when you consider attitudes on a personal level. I ask you, dear reader, to think back to a time when you experienced a major shift in your life. Was it an external change, something that happened outside of you, and forced a change of attitude to help you adapt to the future? Perhaps you saw a friend demonstrate a prowess that cast her in a new light. Heck, maybe it was as simple as your friend getting a makeover. Or perhaps that friend was undergoing her own life change, one in which she would no longer be present in your life, compelling you to make your own change to keep her in it, even if it were in a new context.

Just as important: Maybe the change was an internal one. Maybe you realized you were no longer interested in maintaining your status quo. Perhaps you wanted to try new challenges not only in your professional life, but also in your personal one. Or maybe one day something just changed inside you in the way you saw that good friend, causing you to want her to be more than, well, just a friend.

As you experience our One Hundred Years of Attitude Issue, I ask that you consider not only the attitudes themselves, but the causes that precipitated their change and coming to be. Often the changes in attitude that are the most powerful are rooted in causes that come from without and within. When that unusual synergy occurs, love is often the result. And take it from me: Love is the one attitude that never goes out of fashion.
