Episode 11 was pretty good. I could see Maryann wanting to use Sookie as the sacrafice a mile off though.

The promo for the finale looks pretty misleading. Appears to show Sookie killing someone? I wonder who. Can't see it being Sam but you never know! I can't think of any other 'Supernatural beings' about - maybe Eggs though.

Im staying away from all plot synopsis and spoilers, images and what not about the Season Finale. If it is as amazing as the cast are saying it is, i want to be surprised. The twist at the end is supposed to be huge too..
I loved last nights episode, it answered alot of questions that I was expecting the last episode to answer. And I thought it was cool how Lindsey Haun (the girl who played Holly Lovell in Britney's movie "Brave New Girl") made a cameo. lol. I also am really waiting for Sookie to kick Maryanne's ass. And was I the only one that was overwhelmingly pissed when I saw Tara and Eggs smashing all of Nan's $h!t. I was so f***ing pissed... I really hope Eggs dies.

Well if anyone wants some help on figuring out what MaryAnn is and what "the god that comes" may be, ive been doing some research on Maenads and the "Lo Lo Bromios, Lo lo Dendrites, Lo lo Eleutherios, Lo lo Enorches, Lo lo Bacchus" chant (which i love btw ha) and this is what ive found:

Bromius-A surname of Dionysus, which some explain by saying, that he was born during a storm of thunder and lightning; others derive it from the nymph Brome, or from the noise of the Bacchantic processions, whence the verb bromeazesthai, to rage like a Bacchant

Dendrites-The god of the tree, a surname of Dionysus, which has the same import as Dasyllius, the giver of foliage. (Could be why the meat wat placed in the form of a tree or why MA is always eating fruit)

Eleuthereus-A surname of Dionysus, which he derived either from Eleuther, or the Boeotian town of Eleutherae; but it may also be regarded as equivalent to the Latin Liber, and thus describes Dionysus as the deliverer of man from care and sorrow. (Which explains the debauchery) The form Eleutherius is certainly used in the sense of the deliverer, and occurs also as the surname of Zeus.

Enorches-A son of Thyestes by his sister Daeta, was born out of an egg, and built a temple to Dionysus, who was hence called Dionysus Enorches, though Enorches may also describe the god as the dancer.

No idea what Lo Lo means though... Apparently its supposed to be laughter but also part of a chant? And since Evan Rachel Wood had the greatness to tell us that MaryAnn's ultimate goal is to become a Dionysus, this is what i got from Wikipedia about what Dionysus' are...

In classical mythology, Dionysus or Dionysos (pronounced /ˌdaɪ.ɵˈnaɪsəs/; Greek: Διόνυσος or Διώνυσος) is the god of wine, the inspirer of ritual madness and ecstasy, and a major figure of Greek mythology, and one of the twelve Olympians, among whom Greek mythology treated Dionysus as a late arrival. The geographical origins of his cult were unknown to the classical Greeks, but almost all myths depicted him as having "foreign" origins: Dionysus is typical of the god of the epiphany, "the god that comes". The retinue of Dionysus was called the thiasus and comprised chiefly of Maenads and satyrs.

If anyone is willing to put those two things together and make sense out of it for me i will be forever grateful

Also, if anyone wants spoilers for the last episode (i dont) here is a link to a popular US spoiler blog

I dont either lol I think the show is going to go against traditional Greek Mythology (seeing as in the show Mary Ann wants to become a Dionysus but in reality they dont become one they worship the Dionysus) so most things on the net will probably not count. I dont know im gonna watch the latest episode again tomorrow and just gather any little clues. Btw Tyler what in the world is Labour Day and why is it pushing our weekly True Blood fix forward by one week?

It's most likely because alot of Americans go on vacation labor day weekend, so they probably want to hold it off a week to get as much viewers as possible.

That's the only valid reason I could think of them doing it, plus making us wait an extra week will probably cause more buzz which will also result in more viewers.

Ah ok, i thought it was one of those days that the TV is bombarded with Parades and football games.

So HBO are treating the week off as a catch up. They will be showing episodes 9, 10 and 11 next week.
True Blood pulled in a very healthy 5.2 million viewers this past Sunday (last week was its series high at 5.33 million).

The True Blood season finale airs @ 9PM ET/PT on Sunday, September 13 on HBO.

Lindsay Lohan for sure will be tuning in to watch how the summer’s sexiest series will end.

“Nobody can speak when True Blood is on,” LiLo has told Extra’s Mario Lopez. “Everything about that show is brilliant.”

Good decision on their part. They better promote the f*** out of it on their channel. I am really hoping for 6 million on the finale.
Well ive seen loads of promos on the net for the catch up week and saying when the finale will be they are making something big out of it and hopefully it lives up to it
IT BETTER GET TO 7 MILLION THEN.
