I think it will come back eventually as I'm sure Jason will turn into a werepanther eventually. More likely at the end of the season though.

Finally Eric's storyline is going somewhere. I assume now he'll be under Marlene's spell? And the witches have captured Bill? Although I suspect Tara will help him escape eventually.

Oh and the Lafeyette storyline is just pure creepy. Buts the chills down me. I hate it when the show goes in to first person mode!

I don't think so...well in the promo for the next episode he seems to be free. He's with Sookie & Alcide....

This is starting to get really good now, but I can't help feel like they have a 40 minute script and just stretch it out.

I don't think, for the things that happen in the episodes, that they warrant being an hour long..

And I hate that pretty much everyone is supernatural now.. Tara will turn into a bloody dragon or something in the next season, it's crazy!

Anyone else think that the human half of Sookie could become Vampire if she dies? It sounds absurd as she has the Fairy part in her but she did drink Eric's blood shortly before.. Kinda surprised that Bill still felt her pain though. I know to Sookie its only been a few minutes but a year has passed since she last drank Bill's blood so surely his blood would have left her system by now? (This is all through cross referencing with The Vampire Diaries btw)

I don't think it works like that in True Blood.

VD has it that if you die with vampire blood in your system you come back as a vampire......but I think for True Blood the blood of the victim needs to be completely drained and completely replaced with the vampires blood. It's a more complicated process....not really something that could happen by accident.

Really enjoyed how that last ep ended with the witch vs vampire showdown. Didn't see it coming and it was certainly enjoyable...wonder who'll save Sookie or if Alcide will take her to a hospital???

Loving this season after tonight's episode. So glad to have the old True Blood back. I'm glad the storyline with the ghost woman came to a close. I thought it was going to lead onto Season 5 and get really dragged out but I'm glad it's done with now.

Saw this on Tumblr and found it appropriate for how I feel right now

Fantastic episode. Bunch of characters that I hated are finally gone and I actually laughed quite a lot. I really enjoyed it.
Catching up right now. I just watched 'Cold Grey Light Of Dawn' and PLEASE TELL ME JESSICA DOESN'T DIE.

She doesn't. ;)

WOW

Half way through the finale I was a little bit bored, it came to another limp conclusion with Marnie. But what a final ten minutes. 3 deaths, Reverend Steve is back, but best of all, f***ing Russell Edgington escaped - YES!

I've started to stop expecting that the end of a True Blood season is going to have this massive conclusion because they pretty much never do. But once all the Marnie stuff ended it was really starting to slow down and I was just meh over the middle. The end however was brilliant, so many twist and turns for next season. Tara dying just pissed me off to the point that I could've shot Debbie myself. I was so happy when Sookie done it, I didn't think she would. Also wouldn't Lafayette still be a brujo?

Season 5 - June 2012 (US)

Warning: clip contains spoilers

Season 5 will pick up right where season 4 left off, with Sookie holding Tara in the kitchen.

Alan Ball, Kristin Bauer and Alexander Skarsgard have all stated in various interviews that we’ll see a flashback to when Eric turned Pam into a vampire.

Although season 5 is based on Dead as a Doornail, Alan Ball said that season 5 will combine elements from multiple books much more than in previous seasons (in other words, we could see events from books 6-?).

A major character introduced in Dead as a Doornail is Quinn. No word yet on whether he’ll appear on the show, but we do have some casting suggestions.

We will not see zombies in season 5, but the writing staff are researching “lesser known” supernatural creatures to appear.

So can't wait for a new season :cheer:
