Yeah those figures are just from when the episode actually airs. Apparently when you add HBO On Demand and TIVO and all that the ratings are like 12million+

True Blood star Mehcad Brooks has landed a part in ABC's midseason show The Deep End, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

 

The 28-year-old actor, who currently plays Benedict 'Eggs' Talley in HBO's Blood, has reportedly joined the legal drama as a series regular.

 

Brooks will play a new character called Malcolm Bennet, an associate at the prestigious LA law firm.

 

He has previously starred in season two of ABC's Desperate Housewives as the murderous Matthew Applewhite, who was shot dead in the season finale.

 

It is not yet known whether Brooks will depart True Blood, on which he was recently made a series regular.

True Blood gets like 30m+ plus taking account DVR, streaming etc. iirc it's the 2nd most popular show at the moment (well over the 2009 season) for overall viewing figures after Lost.

I hope Eggs does snuff it. Him and MaryAnn are like a unit I've always thought, even though he's under her influence like everybody else. I just cant imagine him staying around without her and it would give more drama for Tara non?

 

 

If this isnt in spoiler tags btw I'm sorry but I did try! But from a preview of the finale I've seen, I got the distinct impression that Sam is going to actually be sacrificed this time. It would be an obvious mislead though.

I had nothing :( Although next week when True Blood finishes, One Tree Hill is back on :cheer: Also Vampire Diaries starts this week so make sure you watch it on the CW :cheer:
