If theres one minus point about True Blood its the fact that they scream at the end of every other episode :( I just find it to be so predictable now at the end of season 1...

I personally LOVE the cliff hangers at the end of each episode. It's addicting.

I know. :3 Leaves me wanting moaaaarr pls.

Though I am getting tired of Bill and Sookie constantly fightning / then having makeup sex. GETTING OLD NOW ISN'T IT.

Oh no dont get me wrong i love the cliffhangers but the screaming is a bit much no?

Then again, i watch it at 1 in the morning when everyones asleep and noone is around, no wonder im a lil iffy on the screaming

lol at this:

It has come to my attention that many True Blood fans have written many interesting, or not so interesting, stories about the characters in the world of True Blood.
that made me chuckle :heehee:

Anyway, apart from the awesomeness of Whyyawannabringmedown im surprised i agree with you on something Ben :o

ETA: Also this, from the podcast made me LOL

....Thats so modern day vampire

Ben you must get a guest spot on the podcast!

LOL, they asked me if I ever did and I told them I would. Waiting on mah callback.

Whyyawannabringmedown is loveee. ;3 Still.

And yes LOL. We don't disagree that often do we. :( But True Blood is undeniably the best thing on television atm.

No we dont disagree that often but we disagree more so than agree

But atm yes True Blood is the best thing on TV until OTH comes back in September <3 Its one of the best mid-season shows you could probably watch at the mo! Shock how HBO have not moved it during the "normal" season time considering how big of a following it has... (What is the average viewership for TB in the US?) Also 12 episodes? Really HBO?

It averages between 4-5m at the moment I think. It's hard to call as it will get good DVR ratings as well, but it's doing very well.

12 episodes is good as well. For a show like True Blood, anymore episodes then I think viewers might get bored. It's probably best suited to being a summer-season show as well. It's likely to get bigger ratings that way. If it was during sweeps season then it'd be up against Desperate Housewives etc. so it wouldn't get as good ratings.

I heard it's HBO's most popular show at the moment, so it's definitely doing incredibly well. ;D We probably expect many seasons to come haha. The last Alan Ball show (Six Feet Under) got to six before he ended it I think.

12 episodes is sad. :( I think they could pull off a couple more. But I suppose that keeps things fresh. Plus it must be heard to drag out a book across the span of 24 episodes or something. Though at the same time, I hear that they're pretty much moving completely away from the books besides a few key plot points. Like, Sookie going to Dallas is just about the only canon thing thus far this season. In the books, Maryann isn't even a character apparently? Though she could just be renamed.

This is $h!t. Completly awful programming.

AND GUYS CAREFUL WITH SPOILERS. I'm still on season 1! :(

I really want to see this, but I haven't seen the first season. I'm so confused, has the UK seen the first season? if so what channel was it o
FX next Friday it starts.

Is that season 1 or season 2?

Either way, I can't watch it 'cos I don't have Sky
