So I was just poking around myspace and came across this band called Hotpress for Leopold. I immediately fell in love with them! Their song "Torturer" is amazing. Love their sound and their lyrics and everything. You can listen to them at www.myspace.com/hotpressforleopold

Do you know a band called Army of Freshmen? They're not so much indie in genre but they're independent so maybe it still counts. They play punky pop rock type music, I like them a lot. They tour with Bowling for Soup.

I see a lot of cool bands around Camden, but because they're a bit "gothic" or "alternative", you wont hear much about them in the likes of NME or the mainstream music press.....

 

Lilygun - are a really cool and funky Hard Rock outfit operating around the London area

Malificent - Very dark and Gothic/Industrial/Fetishist Rock bordering on Metal.... Their lead singer is a trained ballet dancer who is into Japanese Rope bondage....

Cryogenica - the band on my sig... Have a decent album out, but dont expect amazing production or anything, they come off a lot better live.....

so i was going to tell you about this practically unheard of band from nashville Lenny but then I saw that someone else already posted a whole topic on them. I'm glad to know they have somewhat of a fan base. you should check them out myspace(/lenny)
