The figure is now 500 england fans...

Also, they're the ones chanting 'ten german bombers' and '2 world wars one world cup', which is possibly the most OFFENSIVE thing anyone can do Germany.

Only THREE English fans have been charged with hooliganism.

There are tails on SKY from woman & old men who were being hoarded up & "arrested".

Sky News are changing their slant over this & even the British police are critical of the police for their heavy handed approach.

need to get this hooliganism thing straight. 100 arrests. 3 charges. THREE. All the rest were let go. I've also seen footage of it starting, and its clear that beer bottles and chairs first come over from the German side.

Idiots.... <_< Mind you, if the media and TV programme planners in this country didn't continually stoke the fires by continually linking football with the the war and refrained from going on about sodding 1966 every five bloody minutes..... Not to mention that bloody stupid and awful "Who Do You Think You Are Kidding Jurgen Klinnsmann" song, sung to the tune of "Dad's Army" (another link to the war....), then maybe we wouldn't have a bunch of moronic, binge-drinking English thugs going around goose-stepping, doing Nazi salutes and just generally provoking every German passing by.....

The English fans are the worst, and if you want more proof, here's a little story....

In Camden, there's a Goth pub that I sometimes frequent, I'm on good terms with the staff and management there. Now, this pub has a dress code (which is quite clearly sign-posted on the door of the hostelry), No Football colours or Casual dress (obviously, as they're catering for a specific cliantele...), now over the past week or so, random small groups of footie fans (English, German, Swedish, Brazilian, Dutch, Polish...) have come into the pub and have been politely informed by staff that they will not be served because they are wearing football tops and other footie-related paraphernalia. Now, most fans have apologised and left without causing any fuss....

See if you can guess which group of fans was the only one to shout abuse at staff and threaten violence against staff and customers alike, one pissed up moron going so far as to throw a chair at one of the bar-staff......

Go on, have a guess....

Well I don't know a great deal of the story, but it is always the English that seem to get involved isn't it  I mean, remember Charleroi (sp?) in Euro 2000? -_- And now again...

Yeah, I do remember that..

I just compare and contrast the groups of fans really... You see The Brazilians, say, and how they enjoy themselves - singing, dancing and just generally creating a carnival party atmosphere, loved by all wherever they go... Then you see the English fans - binge-drinking, being loutish, and just generally creating a negative vibe.... -_-

And not only that, they seem to think that this behaviour is ever-so big and clever and play up to the cameras whenever someone sticks one in their face.....

If I were English, I'd just be so mortified that these fukkwits were actually representing my nation....

And, yes, I'd feel exactly the same way if it were Scottish fans behaving like this....
