By David Balls, Music Reporter

Take That have revealed that they intend to start recording a new record in the autumn.

The group confirmed that they will take a short holiday after completing their sell-out 'Circus' tour before beginning work on their sixth studio album.

"We will take a break after the tour then start writing again for the next album in autumn," Gary Barlow told The Daily Star.

"It would be stupid to stop now wouldn't it? I'm feeling so vibed up. I haven't started writing yet, but we've got ideas."

Take That's last album The Circus topped the charts in December, selling over a million copies in just three weeks.

Im so happy we are getting at least another studio album from although my only little worry is i loved take that and party and loved everything changes but was disappointed with nobody else apart from the fantastic never forget so im hoping that trend deosnt happen with phase 2 third album and i think the only way that will happen for me is if they did an acoustic style album which i pray to god they wont.

Having a third studio album will probabaly mean the 4th album again will be a a greatest hits but this time i hope they go with a best of of the new take that and leave the old stuff off as no dount in years to come we will get a definitive colelction that will include old and new take that.

At this point one can only speculate what will be on the new album, but, if I were as avid the listener as most fans here are, I particularly mind at least one acoustic song, or, perhaps, a cover of a song by someone else.....

they are not to big into doing cover songs they so that kind of thing at the live shows but they leep away from covers on albums, i think it will be around 2 years before we get a new album andi think in that time they should release a full live album as it will do quite well, obviously a live album wont sell million but they could easily shift 200,000 copies of a live album which would be great if not i really hope they re release the circus and add a bonus live cd

The only covers they do on the tour are the ones from the first time round RMF, CIBM and IOTAM - and I hope they never drop them from the shows. I know they all rallied against covers but they've so made those three songs their own, although I loved the way they took CIBM back to its original state on the BW tour (I really hate that speeded up version they did).

I think you're wrong about a live album Pete - I reckon it could get pretty close to shifting a million.

Live album dont sell in those numbers, robbie williams and red hot chilli peppers released live albums at the peaks of their career and they didnt manage much more than half a million, dont get me wrong id love a live million seller but live album dont go down well with everyone and people buy greatest hits instead of them a sthey prefer studio versions, me however amn a huge fan of live albums
a l.ive from croke park cd i would love

A lot of people are hoping that the DVD of this tour will be the Croke Park one! I must admit - it was the loudest! Fantastic reception the boys are getting.
