Barlow 'bans pumps' at Take That shows

Gary Barlow has reportedly banned crew from wearing ballet pumps backstage on the Take That tour.

The star is said to consider the footwear “unflattering” and ordered a backing dancer to wear something more suitable.

"Gary can't stand the sight of ballet pumps. It may sound odd but he cannot bear them. He thinks they're incredibly unflattering. In his eyes, even the most attractive woman would be pig ugly if she was wearing pumps," a source told The Mirror.

"At one of their recent aftershow parties, a dancer was kicking back in some pastel ballet pumps, and Gary had to leave the room. All 230-odd cast and crew have been told to stick to trainers or heels when not on stage. The other Take That guys find it hilarious."

Barlow later joked that he would leave his wife because she had bought a pair to tease him.

"Dawn owns a pair and Gary jokes he will divorce her if she buys anymore! He can't be seen with her when she wears them," the insider added.

Take That are currently on their sell-out ‘Circus’ live tour, which kicked off at Sunderland’s Stadium Of Light earlier this month.

I wonder how many people will send Gary pumps just to irritate him.....

Ha, i would ! I hate to walk on 10 cm heels. He should try ! :naughty:

But i think this new is totally made up and non-sense. It is not like Gary would care for fashion, actually
