Take That singer Howard Donald has revealed that there is one song he does not like on the band's current album.

 

'Hold Up A Light' is included on the group's recent LP The Circus, which was released last December

 

Donald admitted that the song is his least favourite on the disc, saying: "I really don't like it and I don't know why."

 

 

Take That's Howard Donald has insisted that the reformed pop group can last as long as the Rolling Stones.

 

The band reunited as a four-piece at the end of 2005 and have since experienced huge success with albums Beautiful World and The Circus.

 

Donald told Star magazine that he expects Take That to continue for many years to come.

 

"[Take That will] probably [be around] as long as the Rolling Stones," he said. "To knock Take That off the top this time is going to take a very special band."

As Howard is probably the most modest of the four of them ... I seriously doubt he said that last bit! It probably goes against what Jason said a while ago ... that he didn't want to be prancing about the stage into his forties.

 

If the bit about not liking HUAL is right though ... Howard ... wash your ears out - there are four songs on there much worse than that one!

if it i strue its great that he is honest enough to stand up and say it as shows even they dont have to like everything, i mean from their solo work and own listening they have very different tastes so it would be normal for each one of them to not like particular songs

Who knows, maybe he's jumping when they sing it to keep from hitting someone..... :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

 

But, like Pete says, even the guy from TT have their likes and dislikes from the stuff they record.....maybe HUAL will be a grower on Howard, and, in time, he'll have a fondness for it.... :)

Yes that may happen aswell sometimes songs take time to grow on peopple, and i must admit i wasnt a huge fan of greatest day but it has grown alot on me lately i still odnt think it should have been the lead single but im liking it alot more now all the same so it could be the same for howard with hold up a light

Now that I am thoroughly a huge fan of the song ... I don't know how anyone could dislike HUAL - it is one of the best songs on the album.

everyone has different tastes so there will always be various opinion all so different on many songs
