Youtube comment

We were all stood watching him. It was literally thunderstorming when he was performing. What this video doesn't show is Will being human, inbetween songs. He basically said "If you lot are getting wet then I'll get wet too" He walked out onto the extension of the stage, took off his jacket and threw it into the crowd. :)

Oh I don't know why Sunday I got them Googled direct from YouTube.

It seems his middle song was LRN not FC. :D

Someone asked if everyone saw the massive sweat patches - someone else put them right and said he was singing in the middle of a thunderstorm and it was rain not sweat

Didn't effect the performance though. A few crashes of thunder during some of the other efforts would have been welcome. :naughty:

I haven't actually watched my recording back yet - I've only seen Will on the YouTube captures - but when I did check it out while I was recording the Saturdays were just starting their set. :P I'm steeling myself to sit down and watch the whole thing - brave me

Rosie over on Devoted found a 'review':

T4 on the Beach is not a place for lyrical or musical subtlety.

Designed for television, T4 on the Beach crammed more than 25 artists into little more than five hours. Each bite-sized performance was short, loud and tailored to the fast-forward attention span of adolescents wired on cider and high-sugar energy drinks

I didn't think that the tonsil op had drastically affected his vocals but after hearing that performance he has definitely lost that occasional 'nasalness ' as if he was nursing a cold. Definitely done him a world of good . And at least he won't suffer bouts of tonsilitis now.

Roll on Saturday - the weather seems to be showing an improvement too.

Much better than this I hope:

I think that review is a brilliant summing up munchkin. I was reaching for the mute button in the first few minutes when Beth Ditto started caterwauling. The more out of tune the bigger the screams except for JLS' miming.
I thought Changes was absolutely the best he's ever sang it, definitely worthwhile having that tonsillectomy, still miffed he never sang TMTW though, :( but I'll live and how could I not forgive him everything, when he looked so damn fine.
