July 14, 200915 yr come on guys the tour is going till November and maybe even more if she decides to tour Asia and South America. so it's clear that we are getiing a Circus re-release with a few brand new tracks :P which IMO is the best option out of all those rumors ^_^
July 14, 200915 yr I would want a re-release of Circus, since a Greatest Hits is just quite a silly idea, and a new album would seem to rushed.
July 14, 200915 yr I really don't want a re-release, as I probably wouldn't buy it as I already have the original Circus. I'd prefer a Greatest Hits with GM, POM, BTI, Womanizer, Circus, IUSA, Radar and 7 more new songs or just a brand new 12-14 track album Also: Spears 'back in studio with Max Martin' Britney Spears has sparked speculation that she is working with legendary hitmaker Max Martin on new material. The 'Womanizer' star, who is scheduled to play a concert in Stockholm tonight, posted on her Twitter account that she was "in the studio" with the Swedish producer and songwriter. Martin was the man responsible for penning Spears's breakthrough track 'Baby One More Time' and went on to collaborate with the singer on her first three studio albums. The pair reunited for last year's Circus LP, with Martin writing and producing her hit single 'If U Seek Amy'. He has also written and produced material for a string of stars, including Backstreet Boys, *Nsync, Kelly Clarkson and Pink. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/a165012/...max-martin.html Edited July 14, 200915 yr by Thёo
July 14, 200915 yr If we get another GH I will go and bomb Jive Records. You don't release a Greatest Hits ever other f***ing album.
July 14, 200915 yr Author If we get another GH I will go and bomb Jive Records. You don't release a Greatest Hits ever other f***ing album. Well then I think you should start putting those bombs  Apparently, the album will be called Britney Spears: The Singles Collection and it'll include hits from Blackout and Circus plus 6 brand new songs. 1. Gimme More 2. Piece Of Me 3. Break The Ice 4. Womanizer 5. Circus 6. If U Seek Amy 7. Radar 8. Mannequin Add 6 songs to that list and you get 14 tracks, so it'd be the stupidest idea ever but it looks quite possible if you ask me. After all, it's bloody Jive Records, we can even expect Soda Pop to get a release as a single can't we? :( Edited July 14, 200915 yr by Luciano
July 14, 200915 yr I can deal with a Blackout and Circus hybrid with like new tracks and the best tracks from Circus and Blackout but a greatest hits type deal sounds retarded. Dark Circus 1.*Kick ass new single supported by a kick ass performance at the VMA's* 2.Gimme More 3.Womanizer 4.Piece Of Me 5.Circus 6.Break The Ice 7.If You Seek Amy 8.Radar 9.Get Naked (I Got A Plan) 10.Kill The Lights 11.Hot As Ice 12.Freak Show 13.Mannequin 14.Ooh Ooh Baby 15.*Another kick ass song to make us happy* 16.*New song* 17.*New Song* NOW THAT I could go for. And I picked the Circus and Blackout songs according to singles and what's being used on tour. She can mildly promote it while touring (one or two televised performances). The new single can be released in September and maybe another single off the re-release in December and then seriously take the whole next year off. Please Britney, you need it. July 15, 200915 yr A GH sounds tacky like an album made simply to cash in on her current popularity, I hope its a re-release and she performs the new song at the VMA's..would be perfect.
July 15, 200915 yr A greatest hits release at this point would be ridiculous. I cant see it doing that well neither.
