Donald: 'New Take That split would be hard'

Tuesday, June 23 2009, 16:52 BST

By Mayer Nissim, Entertainment Reporter

Howard Donald has admitted that he would find it difficult to cope if Take That were to call it a day at the end of their summer tour.

The singer has previously revealed that he felt suicidal when the boyband first split in 1996.

According to Metro, Donald told Time Out: "I think if it was all to end when the tour finishes on July 5, and it all went disastrously wrong, then it would be very hard."

He added that he regretted earlier candid interviews where he admitted that he and Robbie Williams had participated in "w**king competitions" during the group's early days.

However, Donald's bandmate Jason Orange said: "Those are dead funny anecdotes. They might follow us around, but only for a laugh.

"I think the more serious revelations are like what you were saying about how you felt afterwards. Reel feelings."

The wanking story will stay with them for ever but its funny and its something honest that people can laugh about, i think in one way take that means more to howard than anyone, he loved been part of it all and he genuinly adores what he does, and as we know he took the first split harder than anyone, if/when they decide to split this time i hope howard has a say in it as they cant just call it a day without speaking with him properly it wouldbe unfair to put him through the hole thing again.
I am get the nuances of english not so right or the paper wants to make Jason as being disspointed that Gary and Mark are better known?

i never find that to be honest as i think jason is happy about that in a way as jason is quite shy, plus the fact mark and gary have done solo careers would explain that they get more attention also, funnily when they are been interviewed i have a tendancy to not take much notice of jason as i find the other 3 far more interesting and funny>

Well, i don't think Jaons minds it but the paper put it like that  . Jason is the most serious one, he shows in interview not very much humour. Only one thing i hate at Jason : that he have to say everytime something about his age. He makes me feel old :naughty:
