He was certainly a man with 'issues'!! but a musical genius and a very exciting performer!! Neil and I actually had the experience of seeing him in concert many years ago at Roundhay Park - he was excellent - a day I will never forget! His music will never die......

His death is a real shock - it has been a very sad day.......RIP Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett Majors :snif:

P.S. Hello Paul - hope you are keeping well? (and working hard!! :D )

Me and Bri were never proper Fans, but we did likeMichael Jackson, and loved his music,he was just Incredible. It is a massive shock :( ,and very sad  .May he be left alone to rest in peace now.

a shame, he had seemly such a sad life, I did wonder about the 50 O2 gigs.smacked of a bad omen, especially as he must have already known about his skin cancer,
Michael is my main reason for disliking young children being pushed into stardom. I feel he was the best act ever. His music is still as fresh and relevant as ever and his private life just unreal. He'd have benefitted from having a good, 'normal' childhood.

So very sad and hard to believe. An extremely talented person, but who had so many demons to fight. Lets hope he is remembered for all the right reasons.

Good to see you are still around Paul. Sue

Me and Bri watched the tribute programmes to Michael both on ordinary tv and over on MTV over the weekend, and we found them very Interesting and Fasinating :D ........its just such a shame that they were shown in such sad circumstances :(

Aww did anyonbe else here watch Michael Jackon's Memorial last night?Aww it was such a Lovely send of for him,and so full of Emotion!OMG my eyes were filling up, what with seeing his coffin, hearing all the performances and tributes and them all comming together to sing Heal The World at the end  !Aww Paris had me in floods bless her,she was a very brave young Girl making that speech, it must of been so hard fo her  .

we watched out of morbid curiosity after daughter who had it on said it was "tragic" in an ironic way,

have to say I found that as disturbing as his life tbh. how very odd, I am almost expecting the album to be available in your shops soon....I will be interested on any insights to his life coming out in the future, all these people saying how close they were etc - how did they not see he was destroying himself and in big trouble? now they are all jouseling to show the most grief

I watched it and was so pleased to Shaheen he twelve year old give a confident performance particularly as he was the only one I watched on BGT and voted for, as saw something there as with D.he played the young MJ in the show Thriller on tour. Surely a star of the future.
I hope that the kids do stay with Michaels Mum and the rest of his Family as this is what he wanted and they should respect his wishes. They will get the love, surport and protection that he had always given them, and they will be loved so much.Bless them, my thoughts are with them.
I hope they have a lot to do with younger people though. I'd hate them to go to their mother but then it's not up to me.
Thats what i meant Meg,it wuld be Lovely ,and of course only right if they do stay with Michaels Family.I'd hate them to have to go back to their Mother too,Debbie seems to only want them now Michael has sadly gone.
