Posted June 26, 200916 yr They are performing a lot of old Sugababes songs tonight ... Keisha said that on Twitter. But I think that they will also perform Michael Jackson songs as Keisha is a HUGE fan of him (she started singing becasue of him). What do you think? x x x
June 26, 200916 yr i don't think they will tonight because they wouldn't have enough time for the band to learn them. Hopefully there is loads of vids on youtube of them performing songs that they haven't performed in ages. I would like to hear some more stuff from the first 3 eras.
June 26, 200916 yr I'm praying they do Whatever Makes You Happy! They used to perform that a bit with Mutya so I think they might. I'd die if they did. I reckon perhaps Caught In A Moment too and a few Taller tracks like Obsession and Follow Me Home. Can't WAIT til tomorrow's gig!
June 26, 200916 yr ^^ all those would be brilliant. I'd like to go to a Sugababes gig where they perform every single song they have done. That would just be mega. Ooo and remember to film some songs and put them on youtube.
June 27, 200916 yr I've not seen anybody talk about last night's gig other than Keisha herself :heehee: They forgot a few words apparently. I'm leaving now for tonight's gig :D I'll obviously do a review and stuff when I get in!
June 27, 200916 yr oh ok looking foward to it!! ...and to be fair - they have got a lot of songs to remember, I dont blame them for forgetting a few lines! haha! wish i could be there myself!
June 28, 200916 yr (Forgive me for posting this exact same review at PJ haha). I had such an amazing night! They just keep getting better. And better. And better! You get the drift. Things kicked off at about 8 with Alex Roots who did an eight song set including Adrenaline Rush, Give It Up, Don't Stop Looking, Fake and four others which I've forgotten. She was pretty good, all of the songs were given a really rocky treatment and even though I didn't know any beforehand they were easy to bop to. She looked like she really wanted to rock out but was never quite comfy enough to haha: http://i40.tinypic.com/167kxex.jpg After her it wasn't long at all until the 'Babes. They all wore grey; Heidi a grey office chic-style dress with a small clear belt, Keisha a t-shirt and sequined skirt and Amelle an odd sort of leggings-baggy leotard hybrid. The first thing I thought was how stunning Heidi looked. It's really baffling that she can look so dodgy in some pap shots and stuff because she's flawless! She did seem to have lost a bit of weight too, especially around the waist. http://i42.tinypic.com/2lwpx0k.jpg Anyway Freak Like Me kicked things off and got the crowd going instantly. It was basically the Change tour without the props, doppelgangers or costume changes, but the versions of the songs used were all the same, for instance the remix of Red Dress. http://i42.tinypic.com/iwpyxv.jpg They did Stronger acoustically with their guitarist James which was surprisingly a massive crowd-pleaser, especially when Keisha fluffed up the start of the second verse and they had to start again. The crowd literally went wild! This was the setlist: 01 Freak Like Me 02 Round Round 03 In The Middle 04 Ugly 05 No Can Do 06 Too Lost In You 07 Beware 08 Hole In The Head 09 Don't Let Go 10 Stronger 11 Denial 12 Overload 13 Red Dress -Encore- 14 Push The Button 15 Girls 16 About You Now http://i43.tinypic.com/2hqcx0j.jpg http://i39.tinypic.com/6jkpcp.jpg http://i44.tinypic.com/28regc7.jpg They really gel as a group on stage; the amount of times two of them would do something like a hand action to a lyric (for example 'cross the street' in Beware) and giggle whilst the other was singing and stuff like that, and because they were having such a good time the audience got really into it too. Keisha mentioned that parts of Catfights had a 70s, Jackson 5-esque sound and dedicated to No Can Do to MJ. Pretty amazing night. Oh AND Heidi confirmed the single would be on radio in July. :D
