David and Kelly climb to number one, with La Roux only slightly growing on airplay, and making it no further than number 5. Lady Gaga gets her third Billboard top tenner, and The Veronicas finally get their first. An amazingly quick airplay debut for songs from the long and distinguished career of the late Michael Jackson means that Billie Jean is the highest new entry at number 20. New entry? Well, yes, because there was no official airplay chart before 1989, so technically no Bullboard chart! If Black Or White Earth Song enters next week, it might be a bit more confusing though... So who will be number one next week? Are LaRoux Bulletproof enough to survive she pot shots from independent radio stations? Could Jacko build on airplay to make Man In The Mirror number one? Could Cascada come from nowhere? Only time will tell! Hope you enjoyed the chart. PLEASE leave any comments or feedback. I'll be producing the Bullboard chart of the year so far this week, so watch out for that soon! Thanks! :D
June 28, 200915 yr Author 20 weeks in the top 50 is Gold, and 30 is Platinum. I should probably make it more scientific though, I might base it on a points system from next week.
