Posted July 1, 200916 yr As the title says, i want to see what songs seem to be the most popular and see how much diversity there is in the forum i want a proper reason for each song too asd i am curious why each song was chosen my list 1. Pieces Of A Dream - in many ways the last proper Sprock songs released by Ana, ever since i first heard it i loved it, the powerful chorus and clever lyrics stick out for me, also worth nothing is a live performance she did a while back which was sort of acoustic 2. Never Gonna Love Again - the best song off HR and one of the best power ballads i have ever heard, it sounds more like a Celine song but it goes to show that Ana can easily give the queen of the power ballad a run for her money, very powerful vocals and dramatic music all the way through 3. Heavy Rotation - one of the best dancey tracks Ana has ever recorded, you become hooked the minute you first hear it, it shows the likes of Madonna and Britney what dancey music should sound like 4. Left Outside Alone - the ultimate classic, by far the best known song by Ana, like POAD, very powerful chorus and great vocals, a song that will be remembered for years to come 5. You'll Never Be Alone - another ballad that shows off the seemingly endless power in Ana's voice, always sung beautifully by Ana 6. I Can Feel You - bet no body woulda guessed this one  but i have always loved this one, so very catchy and a great dancey tune the chorus is amazing and i love the high note at the end 7. I Do - the best rocky track off Anastacia apart from Left Outside Alone, very powerful chorus and a song with a powerful meaning 8. How Come The World Won't Stop - one of the best songs off Freak Of Nature that i really love listening to, again Ana sings this one beautifully and has a great ending 9. Same Song - this list seems dominated by Heavy Rotation tracks but then again i adore that album, one of the songs that had a Sprock vive running through it, has a great chorus and an almost classical ending to it 10. In Your Eyes - yet another ballad, this song should have been a single, fab vocals throughout and a breathtaking ending i await your lists peeps
July 1, 200916 yr I can feel you.. :| :| :| :| :| Ok. Left outside alone Sick and tired Welcome to my truth Rearview Underground army I call it love you'll be fine One day in your life In your eyes How come the world won't stop
July 1, 200916 yr Author hell yeah :P I can feel you when I kiss you baby Touch you baby, love you baby
July 1, 200916 yr 01 You'll Be Fine | By far one of the best things she's ever recorded. I think it's like the only song where she doesn't go all over the top at the end. It's melodic, simple. 02 How Come The World Won't Stop | Really good acoustic-sounding song. Lyrics are nice, it tells a good story. 03 Where Do I Belong? | Probably her most "rock-sounding" track. Best thing she's every written also. 04 Get Ready | Really rocky and funky, shame it was only a B-side. 05 Seasons Change | Pretty much same as 03 & 04. 06 Late Last Night | This displays the soul in her voice. It's one of the few tracks where she actually sounds "black". Definitely one worth checking out if you've never heard it before. 07 Who's Gonna Stop The Rain | Really melodic to. Dramatic but not to dramatic, it's controlled throughout the whole song. 08 Freak Of Nature | It's quite experimental. Definitely "unique". 09 The Saddest Part | Really hated this. But when you give it another go, it's really passionate and sad. Miles better than Heavy On My Heart. 10 Underground Army | Another song that's a shame that it never appeared on the album. I always thought it would be released to. ---- 11 Time | Really really underrated. It's chorus is massive. Really anthem-etic, in a completely different league to songs like 'I Call It Love'.
July 1, 200916 yr 01 you'll never be alone - song with a special meaning to me, and its became real Fan song 02 you'll be fine - best song on the HR album, love the message it sends out 03 left outside alone - always loved this one, lyrics and general feel when i hear it 04 time - shame we never heard this one live, great lyrics, love the tempo 05 in your eyes - simply gorgeous song, heard it live for the 1st time @ Paradiso, was blown away. again a Fan song. 06 underground army - a little dark but this song always gets to me when i hear it 07 saddest part - sad but amazing at the same time, great emotion 08 rearview - love the flow of this song, great for stage 09 paid my dues - kicks ass, song with an attitude 10 defeated - reminds me of the old days, strong lyrics
July 2, 200916 yr 1. Everything burns This is just the ultimate Anastacia song for me  The lyrics are so sad and strong (even though it wasn't written by her) The melody, the vocals.. It's all just perfect. It's the only Anastacia song that almost got me crying when I heard it for the first time. 2. Paid My Dues Shocked that most people aren't listing this :o It's THE Anastacia anthem if you ask me. The atitude in the lyrics, the sassyness and the power in her vocals in this song make it epic. And the performance of this at Rock in Rio is  3. Left Outside Alone Massive song. It's very haunting. Not only the lyrics, but her vocals also. The high beginning, and her low vocals in the verses. Amazing piece of work if you ask me. Very heavy song for the vocal chords, lots of amazing high notes. Plus, the live performance of this are all just brilliant  4. Maybe Today So sweet and sad. It shows us a complete different side of Anastacia. Love the whole orchestra thing. It sounds so easy going. Nevertheless, her vocals are outstanding and vulnerable. The best part of this song are the lyrics. So different from any other song she's ever done. Amazing. 5. Get Ready Just like Josh said, sad that it was only a b-side. I could imagine this song as a lead single and be a smash hit worldwide. This is a song I would DIE to hear live. Lyrics are fun and sassy, her vocals are epic and the song as a whole just works SO well! 6. Who's Gonna Stop The Rain I can listen to this song over and over and over and over and over again. Never thought an artist could release such a deep song on their first record. The lyrics  Her voice  What more can I say!? 7. Same Song First song from HR. Love the record, but the others are so much better  Love the summer feel this song gives me. It sounds so peaceful. Very well written aswell. 8. Heavy On My Heart Obvious choice  I love the lyrics, could be from a poem. Yet again, her vocals are stunning. She hits some amazing high notes here  And, this song live is just so moving  9. Freak Of Nature Very different from other tracks she has done. Good to dance to. The lyrics are really fun and are all about her. It's just such a fun song to listen to. Love her vocals on this aswell. 10. The Way I See It This song could very well have worked as the lead single from HR. The lyrics are comparable to Paid My Dues. It's very soulful, catchy and very true  Would have done much better than ICFY ;)
July 3, 200916 yr to me its not a typical anastacia song, i prefer the way i see it, all fall down, i call it love and you'll be fine from the HR album.
July 3, 200916 yr Author that's the reaon i love it so much, you'd excpect Madonna or Kylie to sing it same with NGLA, you'd think Celine would do it
July 5, 200916 yr Author you just have to try, we all love ana but we all have our favourites are you saying you listen to eveyr single song equal amounts of time?
