That is a great link and when looking around i found the following review aswell, what do you think of the review???

I've been inspired by this song's title to tell a bit of a truth. OK, a lot of a truth. So much truth that your mind could quite possibly implode upon reading. Maybe. Ready? Here goes: I've never really liked Take That.

Woah, wait! Before you judge me, you must realise that when I was growing up it was Take That or The Backstreet Boys, and for me and my friends it was Backstreet every time. Why, we would ponder, would we want to be obsessing over those leather-wearing, diamond-encrusted, groin-thrusting types, when we could learn BSB's dance moves in the playground, and fixate over the oh-so-dreamy Nick Carter to the point of obsession?

(His favourite colour was green, his favourite food was pizza and he was dating, but not steadily. OK, now you can judge me.)

(Here's some of the video. Bunch of clowns...)

But then, the Backstreet Boys split up, and Take That burst back onto the scene with, thankfully, a whole lot less leather and a couple of fantastic, dangbanging popsongs (see: 'Rule the World' and 'Greatest Day'). Suddenly, I found myself reconsidering my stance on the band and inevitably was very intrigued as to their latest offering.

The song starts off lovely enough; the gentle piano refrain is really rather beautiful, and Barlow displays a wonderful sense of control on his vocals as he does that whole low-to-high pitch thing. Then there's the slow, thoughtful pace and, video-wise, once you get over the fact that it essentially features four fully grown men dressed as clowns, the whole thing is actually rather artistic in a poignant way, enhancing the song by giving it a sense of tragic motion.

So, all these positives should make one big, fat positive and a five star review, right?

Well, no. You see, 'Said It All' is basically 'Greatest Day' (esp. from 3:09 in), but blander, less grand, less uplifting and less, well, good.

It's nice that Take That have taken a more mature approach with their return, but come on guys! Just because 'Shine' was used on an advert targeting the over forties, doesn't mean all your songs from now on have to do the same. The song feels like it's trying to do something, that it's trying to go somewhere, but even the attempt at a build up towards the end fails because the song as a whole is more suited to, well, the background. I probably wouldn't really notice it existed if I hadn't been asked to review it.

Also, despite the band's best efforts, I have trouble taking this song seriously (and that's nothing to do with the clown thing, promise). You see, 'Said It All' is all about The Gary Bar-show. Yes, we get that he's the most talented one, but with him featuring on lead vocals for the entire song - including the chorus and with the exception of a tiny bit at the end where Mark gets a go - isn't it just a little bit embarrassing for the rest of the band who do little else but 'ooh' and 'ahh'? Again? Maybe that's why they all look so sad the video.

The all-new Take That are capable of more than this Grandma fodder. I never thought I'd hear myself saying it, but suddenly I find myself longing for the days of fringed-TT-leather jackets. And that's not just because my Nick Carter facts would at least still be valid, honest.

Speaking of which, did you know he was offered a part on Disney Channel's The Mickey Mouse Club, but he turned it down to join the Backstreet Boys?

I saw that (it was a blog review wasn't it). Fair enough if she doesn't like it - not everyone is going to. But I do object to her statement that it is a Gary only song. Mark has the best bit of vocal on it! Besides - you have to hear Take That songs live to appreciate them I think.

Anyway - that aside - the mini site is great - there's going to be a video there on Friday too - so come back to it and look at it. The photo gallery is good too (CM and his team meeting the lads at the venue).

I agree the mini site is great and its like a lovely tribute to them aswell which is nice.

Yes i didnt like the part where she said it was like a gary song to me that line was lazy and very in line with take that phase one reviews, other parts were fairer but that line sunk it for me
