. Growing up in Plaistow, east London wasn't - and still isn't - easy. Being mixed-race, pretty and talented made her a target among her teenage peers and Jade was often picked on, threatened and taunted. Back at home too, life wasn't easy; taking her GCSE's while looking after for her two younger siblings as well as caring for her disabled parents - her dad is blind and partially deaf and her mum suffers from the auto-immune illness Myasthenia Gravis and is also partially blind - added to the pressure.

 

 

wow. I hope she gets lots of success as she deserves it after what she has been through and all the hard work she has had to do.

Her parents were mentioned quite a bit on the Eurovision show so I knew about their disabilities. She seems like such a nice person and deserves big success.

 

The album release is very far away. :o How odd to leave it that long.

I think the album is scheduled for 1010 because it was Eurovision only a few months ago, so she probably still needs to record a lot of tracks.

I love this song a lot now, I can see it getting to no. 1 with support from Radio 1 and lots of promotion.

I can't get the chorus of Punching Out out of my head. Can't wait to hear the whole thing.
