January 14, 200916 yr I wanted to give my vote and i did it,but when i tried to vote for Dance Floor Chart they showed a message that a vote from this IP address was accepted already and i can try voting in the next quotation whatever this means........ By the way what happenned to Bobiloko? I was wondering the same thing... I dont think the voting site has any impact on the Euro Top 20. The results from your votes are displayed only on that site but then the following week they put out a real ET20 chart from which you can vote again and predict the chart for the week after that.
January 14, 200916 yr Author I dont think it counts either, but its still really strange. I remember going to the MTV Europe site back in 2000, and you couldnt vote for any of the charts, only Select and Top Selection.
January 18, 200916 yr And just to be up to date i'll post two charts.....!Not sure about dates thou-i wrote them as 03.01.2009 and 10.01.2009 but it's not imposible for them to be 27.12.2008 and 03.01.2009. And that's what seems to be the real ones-27.12.2008 and 03.01.2009!The previous post are corrected and this year seems to nave 2 weeks delay on MTV Europe and MTV Hits,1 week delay on MTV in the Nordic countries and only up to date online update in MTV Germany.

January 18, 200916 yr Author It cant be those dates, the presenter said Beyonce was the first #1 of 2009, so it couldnt be still 2008.
January 18, 200916 yr Why is Coldplay - Lovers In Japan in the top 20? Is it a big hit somewhere in Europe?
January 18, 200916 yr Why is Coldplay - Lovers In Japan in the top 20? Is it a big hit somewhere in Europe? I didn't find this song in any official chart in Europe. It's charted here only because MTV Europe plays it a lot. It cant be those dates, the presenter said Beyonce was the first #1 of 2009, so it couldnt be still 2008. Actually in January 2008 they showed this "welcome to the new year" (or something like this) for almost a month. And if we follow the logical way , by not having year-end chart to make us skip one week like before 2007 the chart that follows 20.12.2008 should be 27.12.2008. But the exact date is not so important if you ask me.
January 22, 200916 yr There is no sign of Bobiloko here and everywhere he posted this chart before , so that's why i won't post the new chart(s) until he comes back. But let's have a little trip down memory lane with all the No.1's this week (week No.4) from 1992 so far: 1992:KLF - Justified & Ancient 1993:Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You 1994:Culture Beat - Anything 1995:East 17 - Stay Another Day 1996:Coolio - Gangsta's Paradise 1997:Madonna - Don't Cry For Me Argentina 1998:Spice Girls - Too Much 1999:Cher - Believe 2000:R. Kelly - If I Could Turn Back The Hands Of Time 2001:Madonna - Don't Tell Me 2002:Robbie Williams & Nicole Kidman - Somethin' Stupid 2003:Robbie Williams - Feel 2004:Black Eyed Peas - Shut Up 2005:Kylie Minogue - I Believe In You 2006:Shakira - Don't Bother 2007:Christina Aguilera - Hurt 2008:Rihanna - Don't Stop The Music
January 24, 200916 yr I really hope to see Nelly Furtado's current chart entry here "Broken String" with James Morisson climbing high soon.Let's check her previous chart performances in the European Top 20: 2001 ( 2 ) I'm Like A Bird 2001 ( 3 ) Turn Off The Light 2002 ( 8 ) ... January 24, 200916 yr I'm not posting the new charts... because I'm absolutely confused by the dates! Last year they played an edition of MTV European Top 20 on MTV Europe on a Monday and on the same Monday they played the following edition of the chart on MTV Hits. However, this year so far they have played one and the same edition of the chart on MTV Europe and MTV Hits on Monday. OK, I was ready to accept that there was no chart for December 27 and then the latest chart would be shown both on MTV Europe and MTV Hits... However, as you have noted, on MTV Norway they do play the chart one week in advance... and on MTV Germany's website they show it with two weeks in advance! So far I really haven't decided what to do about all of that... Every week I hope that MTV Hits will again start playing an edition of the chart one week earlier than MTV Europe... That would solve the problem... but it just doesn't happen! I'm almost desperate now... and I'll have to make a decision sooner or later. But you don't need to wait for me, post the newest chart available!

February 8, 200916 yr there's a new chart already? Yes , there is a new chart - which is quite strange to happen so soon. MTV European Top 20 №7/14.02.2009 1. ( 3 ) Katy Perry - Hot N Cold 2. ( 2 ) T.I. Feat. Rihanna - Live Your Live 3. ( 1 ) Beyonce - If I Were A Boy 4. ( 5 ) The Killers - Human 5. ( 6 ) Lady GaGa - Poker Face 6. ( 9 ) Leona Lewis - Run 7. ( 11 ) Britney Spears - Circus 8. ( 4 ) Akon - Right Now (Na Na Na) 9. ( 10 ) Kings Of Leon - Use Somebody 10. ( 12 ) James Morrison & Nelly Furtado - Broken Strings 11. ( 8 ) Katy Perry - I Kissed A Girl 12. ( 7 ) Britney Spears - Womanizer 13. ( 13 ) Guru Josh Project - Infinity 2008 14. ( 16 ) Pink - Sober 15. ( 17 ) Lady GaGa Feat. Colby O'Donis - Just Dance 16. ( 18 ) Take That - Greatest Day 17. ( 14 ) Pink - So What 18. ( 15 ) Beyonce - Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) 19. ( * ) Franz Ferdinand - Ulysses 20. ( 19 ) Coldplay - Lovers In Japan Yet again we have a very quiet week in the chart with only 1 new entry and not a lot of movement.3 weeks in a row we've welcomed one new song. After Rihanna's Rehab, which is all gone already, and Take That's Greatest Day now it's time for Franz Ferdinand and their new offer Ulysses. They have 2 previous entries here both reached Top 10:Matinee in 2004 at No.9 and Do You Want To? in 2005 at No.8.I have some doubts if this will challange those hights? At the top Katy Perry reclaims her crown and now she spend her 4th week there with Hot N Cold. While Beyonce drops to 3 after two times at the top for 2 weeks. One of the most strangest thing in the last few weeks is that Lady GaGa not only have 2 songs in the chart, like a few other artists but she still climbs with Just Dance after went down to No.20! And last but not least-Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl becomes the 3rd most succesful song in the whole history of this chart by collecting 446 points for 26 weeks.Only time will show if she will challange the higher scores 464 for Rihanna's Don't Stop The Music and 497 for Las Ketchup's Asereje. February 8, 200916 yr Author I think its ridiculous how fake the chart looks. Its annoying how they always replace one dance song with another, why not have both songs in the top20? Infinity is obviously still hugely popular!
