I don't think that this 'indie crowd' are stuck to liking just the indie songs in the contest

 

just like me, part of the 'pop' crowd can appreciate a good indie song :D it's moreso the Disney pop of Aly & AJ/Ashley Tisdale that I wouldn't expect the indie voters to like...the more respectable pop always has a market

Do not tell me about that Tisdale song. I'm in the terrifying shock it'd qualified. LOL

I actually quite liked the Ashley song :o But did I vote for it, that is the question? :kink: There was something about the sound.. and interesting lyrics too, even though usually I tend to not listen to the lyrics.

I heard that Ashley's album is surprisingly good/respectable

 

I really liked It's Alright, It's Ok, but I'm not sure that I could stomach a whole album of her music...maybe I should Spotify it just in case :P

Guhh, now that I've heard Loba in English I'm pretty confident it's gonna win. :wub: What a fantastic song. Not that people are judging based on the english song, but its leak adds more hype. Shakira. :wub:

I would probably qualify as "indie voter" and I quite like both of those songs. :D

 

 

I've NO idea why there's so much hate on Ashley Tisdale...she's definitely the big dark horse of this contest IMO, I can see her surprising and possibly even coming top ten. Good pop song innit :o

 

Speaking of winners, Ben's doing his normal tactic LOL. Dolla's probably going to win this - I don't think the indie voters cared much for Release Me either Ben :P

I'm getting more confident that Shakira will win this...and english version leaking right in the middle of final week is a BIG promo for Ele(with two dots on top)dan :heehee: wish Nelly could have done the same with Manos Al Aire :snif:

most people are in denial when they've got what everyone else thinks is a surefire winner on their hands, apart from you of course, I know you were certain that Quicksand would win :heehee:

 

I didn't care much in IV so certainly wasn't expecting Love Song to win, I definitely 100% didn't see Uh Huh Her coming...I thought that was a guaranteed mid-table, and I expected top 3/5 for Robots In Love after everyone had hyped it up, but I still expected Livvi Franc/Kaci to win if I'm honest

 

but then some people are far too cautious...putting an obvious top five at the bottom of the odds because they are too worried to predict that they might be overhyping their own song :lol:
