Goodness knows where Darius is. I'm here and will be for another 6ks. Much as I like Blackburn, I can think of places I'd rather go. Maybe when Mum gets a little better.

I doubt it - he likes his comfort. He's just not here - but he will be.

I haven't seen him in New York yet. Did have a lovely walk round Central Park yesterday, went to the Met Art Museum. Today we are going to the top of the Empire State Building and then shopping in Fifth Avenue

Now, my lot love the shopping bit. I'd rather sit in the park. Sounds like you're busy. Have fun.

According to a poster over on Facebook, Darius was in Venice the other day with a friend!! :) Another holiday?? or business project, video maybe!! One day we will know what is going on!! :D

 

Of course, I suppose it could be honeymoon arrangements! :love:

Natasha's been doing the voice for a comic book character in a new Stan Lee animation.

 

Stan Lee was a storywriter for Marvel Comics and created some of their best loved characters such as the Hulk, Spiderman, X Men and others.

 

 

Yes, she seems to be doing well.

I didn't realise so many of us were away at once. This is the time I would have been in France too.

 

You know, Venice should tick all the boxes for me. Historical, beautiful, lots of culture etc just like Paris and yet, I'm never felt drawn to it.

 

I think it must be the thought of travelling around in small boats which puts me off it.

You can walk as well and the water taxis are good. I bought a beautiful peice of glass in St. mark's Square.

 

At home, I've picked and eaten my first ripe blackberry of the year. By the end of the season, I'll be sick of them.

That's good to know. I'll put it on my "go to" list.

I think my son liked the decomposing building more than anything. His head was full of sunken cities.

Back from New York, back to reality. First load of washing in the machine, off to Tesco soon.
