What confused me is that it's nowhere near as bad as the normal flu i've had - very different with more problems with my throat and my temperature than anything else.
Hope you recover soon Meg. Is your mum ok? There's a programme on later in the week, on BBC I think, supposedly telling us all we need to know about swine flu. Sue
MUm seeems fine. We think I caught it from my daughter who had it very mildly but there are so many cases in her school that they don't even think about it anymore.
Glad it hasn't affected your mum. They warned us that once the schools returned the cases would soar.
Sorry to hear y ou are ill meg, hadnt realised, hope you will soon recover. My grand daughters class at school have a lot with coughs etc including my grand daughter.

Going out for lunch today and hopefully to see Meg and her mum tomorrow :)

Glad you're feeling better now, Meg. I feel so sorry for your Mum. It will be heart-breaking to part with her home,

and so difficult to decide which things to keep. I hope you are both coping.

Hope you enjoy your lunch with Meg and her mum, Pam and that they are managing to keep their spirts up. Sue
Just going to get Mum out of her bath. I hope I can get back on the internet when I come back.

well it's several hours later....are you having problems with your dingle dangle dongle still....
Just a few problems with Mum. I've never done hairdressing - have wash and leave hair. Still, managed to get rollers in restyled and she's much happier with it. I told her she'd regret having her hair cut and that it was much easier just putting it up. She now agrees.
And however hard I pull, I just can't make it stretch. Can't understand why she keeps crying out when I'm doing it.

putting it up can be a pain

I can understand why she wanted it cut.....it's just thin....but wasn't that bad

I quite liked it

Just need a little touch here and there and it sounds like you've done it

Colour rinse tomorrow. I'm not letting her have blue or pink. I think going through the photos she's getting ridoff and seeing her hair still red, she doesn't want the gray. Not red either.
You're bringing back so many memories today Meg! I remember after mum had her treatment for leukaemia her hair came back a lovely silver grey colour but she made me rinse it back to brown because she hated seeing herself all grey.
I don't think Mum ould believe how much she's changed since her first stroke. It makes life harder. No hair colouring today as she's just too tired.
