Yesterday was 10yrs from the day we brought Dane home from Battersea.

Oh Meg I know how you feel, there are so many little reminders aren't there, but think what a good life you gave him. Sue

I know - just think how we benefited from having a constant friend with a waggy tail.
Just heard ALW on the local radio announcing the opening of the new Phantom in New York next March. No mention of who was playing the lead. Do we know anything? Sue
This as a show is not getting good vibes on the boards a bit like GWTW suffered beforehand. The current phantom Ramin Kamiloo sorry spelt wrong appears to be the lead in the london version. A song by him from this is on you tube.
It appears that he is the london phantom and then will be taking it to Broadway.

The part of Raoul in 'Love Never Dies' hasn't been cast yet, has it ?

And isn't Ramin Karimloo currently playing the part of the Phantom...........which would leave a

vacancy when he moves on to the new musical............

Ramin Karimloo is Iranian. Would they like a half-Iranian to play the part?

Out for brunch with my family. My son turned up at midnight to stay until the early hours of Tuesday. It was a complete surprise and I must say, I've never had a better one. He came armed with a TB internal hard disk which he's going to add to the 2 160 gb ones already in there. I can spend the rest of the week reorganising my pc without having to delete anything.
Will they keep the current Phantom show going when the other one starts, two phantom shows running alongside each other, I cant see that working. I still see Rhydian for the first one some time in the not too distant future much as I would like to see D in one or other of the roles.
What a lovely surprise Meg. Hope you have a lovely time whilst he's here. When I saw Rhydian in Liverpool in July, he sang two songs from Phantom and I must admit he was brilliant and would be perfect for the part. Doesn't stop me wanting Darius though! Sue

I'd be more likely to go to see Darius in it.

It is lovely having all the family together.

Just been looking.

Love Never Dies opens March 2010

Phantom of the Opera is booking till Febrary 2011

So it seems both shows will be running at the same time, Preston.

Meg, what a great birthday surprise - enjoy !

Sorry, can't spell February!

What a shock to hear of Stephen Gateley's death .....he was only 33 years old.

I'd not heard that. How terrible. Just off to see what it says. It's such a shame.
