I'd let him out for that too. Seems it went off the night before but it wasn't cold enough to notice. I'd wanted a bath and put the boiler up to max to heat the water quickly. The bath wasn't that hot and that was because the boiler had cut out because it got too hot. So we have heat again but I'm not putting it up again.

Glad you have heat again and it was sorted fairly easily.

I'm still struggling with my BT vision.....tried all-which-way.

I'm now going out to buy a MDMI cable to see it using a scart lead instead was causing the problem

I hate these things....and they always say '4 easy steps' 'takes upto half an hour'.

Well 6pm to 1am and still no luck

Never believe anything that says '4 easy steps' or 'simple to install' they LIE!

Glad you're sorted Meg, that's why we're trying to get a new boiler installed now because ours is on its last legs. Sue

Spam, they never actually point out which half hour it'll be done in. Sue, luckily our boiler doesn't have legs so we're alright there.

goodness a boiler with legs................I know nothing about boilers, my husband and son dealt with that.

I've taken out a service plan incase I have problems with mine, especially with winter round the corner

...yes Meg....winter is round the corner from you too......so prepare

Think I'll be buying some thick jumpers when I get to Canada....I only have thin ones http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v78/1PamP/smilies/brr.gif
If you wear enough of them you'll be so round they'll be able to just roll you along

Ta

The vision box is fine....I'd love to watch a film from the picture box but I'm revising.

Very cosy....candles lit, cd playing....3 chapters finished

I'm going to have to put it away till tomorrow and hope I get a bit of time at work.

Well good luck tomorrow. You'll be fine. Tomorrow you can watch a film. Aren't I good to you.

The course is Monday, I'm at work till 11pm tonight so no time to watch a film

Neil's home this afternoon :)

That'll be nice. Today is so lovely we took Mum for a walk down by the river and had lunch watching the boats go by. We may not have many lovely warm days left this year.

You're so lucky with your weather Meg. It rained here this morning and now it's dull and cloudy. The clocks go back on Saturday don't they, and then it really feels like the start of winter with the dark nights. I think I've said it before, but there's a lot to be said for hibernation. You could just poke me with a stick if we heard from Darius. ;) Sue

No I couldn't - I'd be hibernating. I love these mellow days, it's a shame they have to go. We may be back to jackets tomorrow. We've had rain forcast all week and it's only rained at night. I bet we're not that luckyfor long.

who says I can't stroke them.....

...and they certainly wag their tails....even come to speak to me

....if I go to them.

I find fish very relaxing.

I love watching them.

I hate cleaning them. I admit they will come over to the wall of the tank if you're the only one who remembers to feed them.
I've just found 8 trojans on my pc. Thank goodness for avg. the last one I saw come through a google alert - goodness knows when the olther 7 got on there.
