Thinking of the dentist is not reassuring. When I was a kid, we called ours Miller the Killer - for a reason.

When I was a kid Mum managed to get me to the dentist but I refused to open my mouth. I was really

popular at home!!!

They used to hold you down and force your mouth open at ours. I hated the dentist.

I never minded, when I was young, possibly because I didn't usually need anything done.

It was later in life when my dentist retired and I had to find a new one, I had a couple of bad experiences and developed a bit of a phobia. I'm OK now though and go quite happily for my check ups.

I was lucky, last time I didn't need anything doing. Mind, it had been 10 years from the last appointment.

It's snowing again, good job the ground is wet.

Just about to travel up to Kendal.

Had my sarcoilliac joint manipulated yesterday, he said it would be sore yesterday and worse today......he wasn't wrong...started during the night and even with painkillers it's agony.

I'm so tired and start nights tonight :(

Hope it eases off soon, Spam, try a hot bath.

Nina and I were lucky, yesterday was lovely - and dry. Today it's raining again but at least it's not snow or sleet.

I tried out my new strider - which Nina was good enough to assemble for me. 5 mins top at the moment but at least I'm doing it. A lot cheaper than going to the gym.

I was soaked when I went to the shops earlier. I'm jealous of your cross trainer Meg, enjoyed testing it out. Tempting to buy but nowhere to put one.
It cost less than one months gym membership and feels really good. I was going to wear the coat you put buttons on but I'm not going to let it get wet.

That's the trouble with physio, everything feels so much worse the day after. Makes you wonder how it can be doing you good!

Hope the pain eases before tonight. Sue

Woke up this morning with a thumping headache. Hope it shifts before tonight.
I've been playing catch up all day. I didn't get back from the hospital 'til 12:30, then took Mum out for her walk, then came on here. Dave wants us to go for a coffee so I'm just going to have to tape AT and hope it works.
My machine let me down this morning, don't know what it recorded, but it wasn't GMTV. Sue

tilt, guilt sets in... virgin media phoned earlier wanting to talk to the account holder about the account, not a sales call but urgent..I couldnt recall the password, so he wants OH t phone back later..thought no more about it

then daughter says phone is not dialing mobile numbers. just a dead tone, tested the phone and it worked fine for my mums landline

2+2 just sunk in, I bet they have stopped mobile and o9 numbers..

now I am beginning to to think I may have racked up some bill, oh well, nice meal, shoulder massage...gulp, it was a longer voting window.

luckily other daughter said she will pay some if I want, as she couldnt get to a phone at work

I don't have to pay any council tax for this month and next so that should cover a good bit. Good job we pay that tax over ten months. Nicely timed, Darius.
I hate to think what ours will be with two land lines and both voting. Dave said it was worth it for the look of pleasure on my face. Still, I don't think he's realised just what we've racked up. Worth it though. Shame they're not BT lines, it'd be cheaper.
oh yes, forgot we get a couple of free months on the council tax, and the water rates..should soften the blow, just suddenly it feels like I was voting pretty fast for ages.

just bit the bullet and told OH, he saw the silver lining...if they have just blocked calls to mobile phones(a favourite pasttime of daughters) he said he may not call them back for a while, it can stay blocked!

he reckons 20minutes, at 6 or so calls a minute...a long window this week
