A week today she's in for the operation. She's looking forward to the improvement it should bring.

Watching John Barrowman on Lorraine and thinking he's not a patch on Darius. Very showy -more style than substance for me.

I'm so sorry. You really need that car. Is there nothing that can be done?

Mine failed first test but got through after the exhaust sytem was replaced.

The trouble is, the car isn't worth as much as the repair bill would cost. I'm still slightly in favour of trying to do without but Dave thinks I have to have a car - even if I don't use it much. Small cars with room for a wheelchair are not common.

.....but my Jazz car is great for wheel chairs....the back seats fold up very easily.

I tend to keep them up and put my shopping into the foot well instead of using the boot.

It's also easy to drive, very light steering and pedals.

Excellent for motorway driving, power when needed.

Is Scotland playing at Hamden? on Wednesday...

I may have had a clairevouyant moment...

It's poured down all day here. Really miserable, but at the hairdressers this morning, it was so good to hear so many positive comments about Darius! How he derserved to win, how good his performances were, how negative the judges had been towards him and how biased they were towards Bernie. I really thought the public in general hadn't picked up on the latter two points. He's certainly got people interested in him again, now he's just got to act on it. Sue
