Talking about not being able to sing, I saw bits from a show last weekend were they were choosing someone to sing in The Eurovision Song Contest. They were attempting to sing a Pete Waterman song and it was awful. Made me go hot with embarassment. Did anyone see it? Sue

Very. If I'd been watching a video, I'd have switched off.

Leaving the cinema would have upset my friend and disturbed others so I just had to put up with it.

Luckily not, Sue. At least I was at home, BT but I'd not watch it again. The musical has a cast that can sing for the stage production..

No. I was flicking and stopped to watch because a dark haired girl was about to sing. She was awful and I was flicking again about 30 seconds later.

I watched the first Harry potter film again - Mum had forgotten she'd seen it. She didn't remember any of it, so it was new to her again. There are some advantages, most things she watches are like the first time however many times she's seen them before.
It's been raining all day here! How's your hand coming along? Are you coping with things ok? Sue
I've had to do a fair bit of driving as my husband isn't well so neither hand is very good. I'd like to wake up and have them back to normal.
It makes it so much harder when you rely on them to do things and they can't. It times like that that makes me realise how dependent I am on mine and how grateful I should be! Sue
That's one of the reasons I still have a car - even though I can't really go anywhere.
I don't have a car but I'm lucky to live in London where the public transport (most of the time) is very good with buses all through the night.
I still have my car, but it's so painful to drive now that it's not pleasurable anymore. I keep trying though because I don't want to lose the skill. Sue
I wish they could do something for you, Sue. Have you tried alternative medicine like acupuncture?
Jan de Vries, who's a respected and famous practitioner of alternative medicine, seemed to support the use of magnets in therapies etc., in the paper the other day. I don't unfortunately still have the article. He mentioned acupuncture too.
