...and at long last I actually had one of those double chocolate chip muffins Meg always has to finish eating.

Have they all gone?

You have spoilt me, now I always have to warm them in the microwave.....they are so delcious.

After months of waiting the call for Stuart to move to Canada came and I just happened not to be working.

As the only flight was fom Gatwick I want to give a HUGE thanks to Meg for putting us up and coming to the airport with me.

Stuart arrived safe in Canada and got his work permit with no problem at immigration.

He has found a flat and moves in on Thursday once he returns from Calgary where he hopes to find a car/van at a good price.

Next Neil goes to Uni......all big changes!

Out of 160 muffins, we have 2 left now. That's the trouble with chicks - they can fly away at the same time - leaving you with an empty nest. Never did like the idea of living in a nest really. Houses are much better.

I don't think I could cope in a nest.....not even the ones from Inkdeath......not that we have any giants around here!

I'll stick to houses :)

Has Neil completed his dental trearment? Good luck when you go, Pam.

There's always web-cam etc to keep in touch with the boys ....or has technology progessed beyond this now.

How would I, a complete techno-phobic, know !!!!!!!!!

I quite like the idea of the nests but you'd never get planning permission on one. Or find trees which could cope either.
Glad Stuart got there ok and everything is going well for him. Just Neil to get settled in now. Sue

Neil has finished all his treatment and has his new crowns and bridge.

He's really pleased with the finished product although it's not the same as having your own teeth.

Once Neil has settled it will be my turn to move.....if all goes well.

The survey will be done on my new house in the next few days :o

Glad Neil has finished all his treatment. Bet he's happier about his smile (and girl appeal). My fingers are crossed for your house.
If Darius isn't busy, maybe he could help you move - but he may be moving at the same time.
Well, that means t5here'll be no delays for you then as it seems to be quite quick in America
If Darius helped you to move Pam at least we'd know for once where he was and what he was doing and somebody would get to see him in person this year! ;) Sue

So we'd at least know he still exists.

Nina 'phoned to say her daughter has done very, very well in her GCSE. Lovely to hear some good news for a change.

That's true....and I'm sure I'd have a lot more helpers too if they knew he was here

Thanks Pam and Meg

She did brilliantly and we are very proud of her. Next step AS levels, then A levels and onto medicine. Long way to go still.

Hope the next two years go as well for H, Nina. Is she aiming at Cambridge as well ?
