As long as you can still type, that's okay, but try not to lose any more cos that would be careless

How's your weekend been then, Brian?

Dracula

busy, garden done(well the front),car washed and other household chores done(you know the ones we all hate doing :D )

not done much today, pretty beat after all that exertion yesterday.Plus I think i've got a virus on my pc as i keep getting a message,so i will have to try and get it. Slowing me down,or maybe its trying to type with only 9 fingers

On no, hope it's not a rude message :o No, a virus is bad news :( I had something that kept slowing me down, but my PC man managed to identify it and I do my Ctrl, Alt, Delete to get Task Manager and I end the process  Haven't got a clue what I'm doing, but it works ;)

Sand

Sounds like you've got a program that runs at start up,what you have to do is identify the name and stop it running from the start up.I used to know how to do that,I'll see if I can find out.

No I don't think mines rude (I hope not anyway) but my antivirus can't get rid off it so I will have to do it manually in the Registry( )

Midlands (sometimes we're posh, sometimes we're not ;) )

I know what to do,

1)switch off system restore

2)update anti virus

3)run anti virus program

4)manually delete certain files in the system registry

5)switch system restore back on

And voila, virus should be gone, well thats the theory

No, not really, just went into Birmingham to get a birthday present and have a look around. Nothing much today, although a friend came to tune up my guitar and show me a chord or two, but I forgot them, before he'd even left
