talking about writing lyrics,have you seen the thread in the retro about the skids. I posted the lyrics cause no-one could understand them, the funny thing is i come from almost the same place as Richard Jobson & Stuart Adamson and I can't understand what he's saying either :rofl:

 

I saw the skids in a pub in Dunfermline just before they were getting their 15 minutes of fame. they sounded pretty rough, but they had something, not sure what.

well they came out of punk, but i wouldn't class them as such,a bit like the buzzcocks or so. They didn't last long. They split and became Big Country in the 80's, they were ok.
