New teaser trailer :)

I'm excited! Though Helena said Bellatrix doesn't feature much in the first film. :( But I'm still excited to see it! :w00t:

^ Apart from the beginning at Malfoy Manor I don't know when else she might be in Part I.

Re: the split

I think it'll be when they are caught by the snatchers so Bellatrix would be in Part II more torturing Hermione, the scenes at Gringotts and then the Battle of Hogwarts.

I think the trailer is just a rough of idea of what both parts will look like. I reckon they'll split the part around the time of Malfoy Manor, before or after.

Oh yea it's for both parts.

Yup I think Snatchers is best part to split - bit of suspense as they get taken to Malfoy's Manor to kick of part II.

Yeah, I think when they get caught would be the best place to finish. That way pt.II will open with Malfoy's Manor, and then leaving the remainder of the film for Gringotts and a good, lengthy Battle of Hogwarts sequence.

I think they'll split it around the

silver doe part

, since that's approximately half-way through the book.

I know they won't split it exactly halfway, but I don't want one part to be significantly longer than the other

I think this was confirmed a while back, but Yates said the final, final decision won't be made until he finishes editing, so it still may change. It is the most logical place to end though.

And the trailer was fantastic, and is that Lord Voldemort standing in front of the Hogwarts Express? I take it he is going to search the train. Was that referenced in the book, or is this a whole new scene? I'm really looking forward to the film for the fact that we get a different perspective than from the book, so we can see the events actuallly happen, instead of the trio just hearing about them while in hiding.

It's a new scene. ;) I'm so interested in how they're going to do this movie. I hope we get an insight into the character of Voldermort and his death eaters.

That's not actually Voldermort in front of the train.

I think we're going to see them taking Luna.

OMG OMG OMG :dancing: i'm getting so excited about this  November seems a lifetime away lol, i want to watch it now, i have the book but i'm too lazy to read

I thought so, but I haven't read the book since it came out, so I wasn't sure if they heard it over the secret radio channel or something. And I agree with you, I really hope the writers take the chance to explore the inner workings of the Death Eaters, which J.K didn't really get the chance to do as she was resticted to Harry's point of view. Rowling compares them to the Nazis, so it will be interesting to see if they take that metaphor further by showing us the hierarchy and how they manipulate the media.

Sorry, your right, I paused it and it's just a Death Eater. I just assumed from the billowy cloak that it was V.

Yeah definitely ^ I'm still dead intrigued into how Ralph characterizes Voldermort in this film, as I've never been impressed by his portray in the past films. I'm also anticipating how Alan Rickman plays Snape in this one, as (although he's played the character really well), Snape has always come across as quite comical. We'll have to wait and see if he can show the role of a death eater & the tragic hero.

GOOSEBUMPS.

me too, until i read your post i just thought i was cold, :kink:
