According to a posting on ANDREW W.K.'s official web site, the singer will be releasing three new albums during 2006-2007: "Close Calls with Brick Walls", "Young Lord" and "The Carrier". Andrew, who has been recording "non-stop for the past three years," will be launching the new music in Asia this summer and the only concerts he has scheduled thus far are in South Korea and Japan — except for one; on August 3, 2006, Andrew will be performing at the Hard Rock Live in Orlando, Florida in what will mark his "first public concert in three years." Also appearing on the bill are FURIOUS, PAIN PRINCIPLE and HYDROSONIC.

ANDREW W.K. had previously told MTV.com that his forthcoming follow-up to 2003's "The Wolf" would include the following tracks, among others: "I'm a Vagabond", "I Want to See You Go Wild", "I'm Not Going to Bed", "Pushing Drugs", "You Will Remember Tonight" and "Kicks and Bricks".

ANDREW W.K. released a live DVD, "Who Knows?", in February. The film features live footage shot over four years on the road, as well as behind-the-scenes footage, an ANDREW W.K. fan tribute, outtakes of Andrew performing "I Get Wet" and additional footage of Andrew's antics.

ANDREW W.K. has yet to announce a new label home, having severed ties with Island Records in 2004.

however for the new album think no one will give it much attention over here (especially any trendies down hoxton who might have thought i get wet was the album to get in those days )

probably will get less attention than def lep's yeah!!! :o

i say trendies in hoxton because of this:

"Steev Mike" controversy

Many contradictory versions of Andrew W.K.'s history and rise to celebrity have coexisted, with some of the contradictions seemingly coming from Andrew himself, however the source of the confusion is difficult to pin down. As a result, some have claimed he is an actor merely playing as a rock star, and a front for some sort of songwriter or songwriting team. It has been suggested that Andrew W.K.'s appearance is the creation of this entity. Rumors have circulated that before there was an "Andrew W.K." the press was holding interviews with a "Steev Mike" whose image and sound later became known as "Andrew W.K." (the first appearance of "Steev Mike" was inside the pages of the cutting-edge UK magazine "Dazed & Confused". Furthermore, a vinyl record by Steev Mike has been discovered, and is the same as the first 7" EP by the band Couch. A radio promo and a full album by Steev Mike have also been leaked onto the internet by unknown sources. The promo contains demos of tracks from I Get Wet and The Wolf, and even a demo of the new song Kicks & Bricks. The album has 12 tracks, 2 being not songs, but a spoken word piece and an interlude. The rest are songs from I Get Wet and The Wolf. The songs on the album have changed drasticly on their appearances on I Get Wet and The Wolf.

"Dazed & Confused". very much the mag i think a trendy in hoxton would read

Its Good he is releasing some more albums, it'll get his profile more mainstream if his work is good. That way I can download his material easier from P2P ;)

then again the factor that justin from the darkness is a complete twonk might have killed off any hope that the mainstream might take to heart anyone who looks to them as being similar party metal vein (even if there's a gap as huuuuuge as the atlantic between them!!!)
