July 16, 200915 yr No Supernatural, OTH or Gossip Girl :( and only guest star for Housewives? All four have been outstanding this season, I think :(
July 16, 200915 yr Gobsmacked that Beau Bridges is the only Desperate Housewives nomination. What a snub. Also Betty White get nommed for Ugly Betty - yea it was funny but an Emmy nomintion?! Vanessa Williams should win her award
July 16, 200915 yr Eva Longoria really deserved a nod for DH. Big shame. Sad to see that neither Medium nor Criminal Minds have been nominated in any capacity either. Hurrah for Christina Applegate in Samantha Who though!
July 16, 200915 yr Author I'm very happy with the nominations overall...only mad to see the lack of love for True Blood  Nominations by network: HBO 99 NBC 67 ABC 55 CBS 49 FOX 42 Showtime 29 PBS 26 AMC 23 Comedy Central 13 FX, Bravo 11 TNT 10 Discovery Channel 7 SyFy 6 Lifetime, History Channel 5 USA 4 Travel Channel, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Disney Channel 3 Hallmark Channel, A&E, The CW 2 National Geographic Channel, MTV, Fox Movie Channel, ESPN, DirecTV, Animal syndication, Spike, Planet, Biography 1 each
July 16, 200915 yr Author Also Betty White get nommed for Ugly Betty - yea it was funny but an Emmy nomintion?! My mistake, she was nominated for the witch lady in My Name Is Earl
July 16, 200915 yr Vanessa Williams should win her award  Probably, yes. But I do quite love me some Kristin Cheno!

The Emmys are usually pretty criticy, and easy to guess. Just look at the nominations - most of them are from cable TV. barely any from primetime channels aside from the critically acclaimed shows and performances really.
July 16, 200915 yr One big WTF. No One Tree Hill? what a massive :manson: The episode they sent to be nominated was amazing and worth of at least nomination.
July 16, 200915 yr One big WTF. No One Tree Hill? what a massive :manson: The episode they sent to be nominated was amazing and worth of at least nomination. Like I said before, the Emmy panel are a bit criticy. The CW only have 2 nominations lol, even Nickleodeon got more nominations that them! Which is a shame as CW is pretty underrated, just a bit poor money wise. Last year Lost sent off The Constant to be nominated for best episode, and whilst it got a nomination (iirc) it didn't win. Which is a crying shame, as it's an absolutely mind-blowing episode, probably the best episode of TV i've EVER seen...
July 16, 200915 yr One big WTF. No One Tree Hill? what a massive :manson: The episode they sent to be nominated was amazing and worth of at least nomination. it is because OTH is not up to the high quality programming such as 'Lost'.
July 16, 200915 yr Lost is a total turd. One Tree Hill is also a total turd. Its better than 9021-hoe.
July 16, 200915 yr One Tree Hill is also a total turd. Lie :( Although one of my friends did make me watch an 8 episode Lost marathon ... I thought I was actually going to stop living.

July 16, 200915 yr No there's a lot more catergories. I would post them, but only is people want them to be posted as, well, it's quite a long list.
July 16, 200915 yr Lie :( Although one of my friends did make me watch an 8 episode Lost marathon ... I thought I was actually going to stop living. Sounds like my idea of hell.
July 16, 200915 yr Author One big WTF. No One Tree Hill? what a massive :manson: The episode they sent to be nominated was amazing and worth of at least nomination. The rules changed this year, the nominees were chosen by the popular vote instead of the top 10 popular vote + the panels vote (tape submission).
July 16, 200915 yr That Sigourney Weaver nomination for Prayers for Bobby is thoroughly deserved. Saw this TV movie by accident a couple of weeks ago and it was touching without being nauseatingly sentimental. Weaver gave a brilliant performance (the whole cast did). A full list of nominations can be found on the International Movie Database www.imdb.com Norma
