Well what a gorgeous chart, full of quality pop... were things better in 'the good old days'?...well going of this chart the answer must be a resounding yes!

 

 

1 The Beatles - All You Need Is Love .................the anthem of '67, the beatles at their zenith? reckon so! :thumbup:

2 Procol Harum - A Whiter Shade Of Pale .... never liked this dirge

3 The Monkees - Alternate Title ...... originally 'randy scouse git' (dunno why, cant see a 'till death us do part' theme in the lyrics), this was a superb track! :thumbup:

4 Vikki Carr - It Must Be Him (Seul Sur Son Etoile) ...oh dear.... slushy 'mums' music :puke2: she used to cry on stage whilst performing this.... i know the feeling! :lol:

5 Engelbert Humperdinck - There Goes My Everything .... another 'mums' fav <_< bloody women!

6 The Turtles - She'd Rather Be With Me .... :thumbup: a superb uptempo pop track!

7 Scott Mckenzie - San Francisco (Be Sure To Wear Some Flowers In Your Hair) .. another 67 anthem, good but imho the beatles were better.

8 Pink Floyd - See Emily Play .....:thumbup: class! damn heavy pop in the middle of the hippy summer

10 The Hollies - Carrie-Anne ....... cant beat a bit of hollies , quality pop :thumbup:

13 Young Rascals - Groovin' ...... what a fantastic, laid back summer song :thumbup:
