July 20, 200915 yr I agree, I'd keep everything in pop. This album is more dance though the past two albums were pure pop. Although Xylem is right in saying she's being marketed as a dance artist, it's quite a fine line. I think she needs more time and material to be properly considered a dance artist. Oh and does anyone have any idea what she's doing in that first picture? I've been trying to work it out but it just looks strange especially with her arms in the air.
July 21, 200915 yr Agree, I think this would be better suited to the Pop forum. Delighted theres a new video being filmed.
July 21, 200915 yr Author The other topics can stay in the pop forum, they were first posted there, its fine. She fits both genres, imo more dance, but they can easily be in either forum However, this thread i'm keeping it here. I think she's just like September who's also dance.
July 21, 200915 yr It makes more sense for an artist to have all the threads about them to be in 1 forum though

July 22, 200915 yr All Around The World have kinda confirmed that the UK release has been cancelled although it isn't 100%. :drama: However, there will be another single selected. I presume Love Love Love because it's already been released in Sweden though theoretically they need a new international single which would most likely be Love Me Senseless (as it's Agnes' favourite and what she wanted to release) Gathania, September, Agnes... :snif:
July 22, 200915 yr What the actual f***?! She just had a top 3 hit for f***s sake! Where did they say that? Love Me Sensless would be good... Love Love Love would only work in the UK with a $h!t remix.
July 22, 200915 yr It's posted on the All Around The World forum with managment confirmation but I'm still not 100%. Seemingly because it's too Euro for the UK which I completely agree with. All Around The World confirmed the cancellation but it's not actually being released through them? hmm. Love Love Love wouldn't be a good replacement, it's too schlager and just too mid-tempo. I'm hoping for Love Me Senseless, well ideally Don't Pull Your Love Out but that won't happen.
July 22, 200915 yr My head will actually explode if they release Love Love Love instead of this Im sorry but On & On>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Love Love Love
July 22, 200915 yr I'll email my contact at the label and see whats happening. This sounds absurd. Can you ask them what's going on with Alcazar while you're at it? :kink:
July 22, 200915 yr Can you ask them what's going on with Alcazar while you're at it? :kink: LOL one issue at a time - what is the deal with Alcazar anyway, I dont follow...:kink:
July 22, 200915 yr Just that they have licensed Burning, and have not announced any plans, remixes, anything. BMG apparently briefly had the rights to them at the beginning of the year, but dumped them. Agnes is more pressing now though, they better not treat her like a dance one hit wonder before she's had the chance to have a second
July 22, 200915 yr It's meant in a Eurodance sense. Love Love Love is very schlager whilst On & On is more Cascada/Basshunter-esque.
July 22, 200915 yr It's meant in a Eurodance sense. Love Love Love is very schlager whilst On & On is more Cascada/Basshunter-esque. Cascada and Basshunter, both who have topped the charts in the UK. Madness if they cancel it.

I much prefer Love Love Love personally, but I agree with your worries about it, it would need a complete overhaul to be a hit here, it is so obviously 'Eurovision', particularly the triumphant sounding climax at the end of the song What worries me is that they won't get their act together quick enough/strike while the iron's hot and wheel out some rubbish new single in 8 months time when the public have lost interest and it flops in at #34 or something...they need to release something in the next 2 months ideally
July 23, 200915 yr LOL one issue at a time - what is the deal with Alcazar anyway, I dont follow...:kink: yes PLEASE! I e-mailed Alcazar's management direct the other day but it got me nowhere :heehee: why have their releases been panned? and more importantly, WHY ARE THEY CHOOSING ANYTHING BUT STAY THE NIGHT TO RELEASE AS A SINGLE HERE...IT WOULD BE HUGE!!! Direct this question to them in caps lock if you wish :kink:
