May 30, 201015 yr Author D1lCdDZ0XgM Love this video! She has come on so much with her dancing and stage presence.
May 30, 201015 yr Her stage presence is just amazing. She's owning the stage, and looks totally convincing while she's dancing. My only concern is that in quite a lot of the videos, she doesn't even attempt to sing the majority of the choruses of the songs. That's a pet hate of mine. I don't go to a concert to listen to the back up singers. And although she still has a fantastic range, I do question whether her voice is quite damaged. It's nowhere near as powerful as it has been and it looks like she has to back down from some of the belting notes and the more demanding sections of certain songs (she has lowered the majority of them, completely changing some of the melodies), whereas the high falsetto notes are still fine. Strange. Edited May 30, 201015 yr by PaulM1983

Strange. She's being smart and protecting her voice. This is her first tour and pretty much every song of hers is vocally demanding. The backing singers are there to assist and keep the melodies of the choruses going so I don't mind them doing that. The money notes are still there, belting and falsettos. :)
May 31, 201015 yr Im still really looking forward to seeing her. I've got a long wait though, until June 22nd. It's just amazing what these rehearsals have done for her confidence. She's like a new person on that stage.
May 31, 201015 yr Totally understand what you're saying Paul. However, I think because she's been working on her performance, her vocals have to take a hit. I don't think they've been affected as such, it's just before she would only focus on the vocal aerobics and now she's putting on a performance as a whole. I get what you're saying, but I'm just happy she's finally got some confidence and isn't just standing there like a statue anymore. Genuinely thrilled she's getting so many positive reviews.
May 31, 201015 yr Looks and sounds amazing, she has deffo grown as a performer but I want some of the big notes back that are soposed to be in some of the songs :( Still I can't wait, and I'm happy with the setlist although I would have liked FITS and Misses Glass there. Does anyone know Gabriella Cilmi's songlist?
June 1, 201015 yr Author Really great review from The Sun: Caught Live: Leona Lewis LEONA LEWIS brought fantasy and faultless vocals to Liverpool last night as her Labyrinth tour got into full swing. Three years after debut album Spirit, she claimed WHITNEY HOUSTON's old title as ballad champion of the world. The X Factor winner, who opened in Sheffield this weekend, delivered a superb 19-song set for 11,000 fans. I was worried about letting myself in for an evening awash with women on a girlie night out. But while Leona doesn't dance much, the glam show - inspired by her favourite Eighties movie Labyrinth - is extremely entertaining thanks to expensive scenery, her mad imagination and an army of aerial performers, acrobats and dancers. Leona emerged from the backdrop of misty castle ruins to the slow beat of Brave, sexing it up in thigh-high boots. She later changed into a blue feathered number for Avatar theme I See You. And the place came alive for her rave number Out Of My Head, mixed into Sweet Dreams by THE EURYTHMICS. Other hits included Happy and, of course, Bleeding Love, which jostled with covers of SNOW PATROL's Run and ROBERTAFLACK's First Time Ever I Saw Your Face. Speaking before the world-class two-hour performance, Leona said: "I'm so proud of what we have achieved and how the show looks." And with Whitney's decline, there is no one to touch her when it comes to soulful power pop. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showb...-Liverpool.html
