Posted July 18, 200916 yr MPHO releases her debut single 'Box N Locks' this Monday, and as loads of BuzzJackers are liking this song I thought I'd create a predict thread for it. Where do you think it'll peak? Here are the two videos (I Don't know which one is the official one): unlcLj5mk4o aDfLBY6PJrQ
July 18, 200916 yr I'm predicting top 20. It's had very decent radio and video play, and there seems to be a bit of hype about it.
July 18, 200916 yr Top 20 as a safe guess, could get higher if it gets airplay and be lower if it doesn't.
July 18, 200916 yr One of my favourite songs of the year so far. <3 Her label's handled the release immaculately. And with the physical and download release being on the same day after weeks of decent airplay she should debut quite high. Top 15 I'd say, Top 10 would be stunning though. And she should have some quite a few remixes wondering around on iTunes by then aswell. This outpeaking the likes of "LES Artistes" and "Paper Planes" should upset quite a few people on here LOL. I think she would then be the first South African-born artist to be in the top 10 ever or the first in a long time - haven't done my research or I'm forgetting someone .
July 18, 200916 yr This is an amazing song and deserves to do well. It should definatly manage top 20 at least IMO.
July 18, 200916 yr I'm not that into this song however I do love MPHO and her album is amazing. I'd say top 30 for this (around 22).
July 19, 200916 yr REALLY GOOD totally dripping with confidence this should be top 20 on pink vinyl sales alone. :)
July 19, 200916 yr Author REALLY GOOD totally dripping with confidence this should be top 20 on pink vinyl sales alone. :) Yeah and then pigs will fly her away to Narnia
July 24, 200915 yr Another poll another sample. Has the music industry lost the will to create something entirely new? This samples Martha and the Muffins - Echo beach. The original was far superior to thus, but it had poor chart success I seem to recall. Top40 for this would be kind.
