1. Brilliant song, and a possible winner imo, would almost definately get a 12 or high marks from me.

1st - 5th

2. Another good song, I think it could go top 10, and again would almost definately get points from me, albeit less than Alcazar.

7th-9th

3. Again a good song, though less so than the previous two imo. Top 10 I'd have thought for this.

6th-10th

4. Different from the others so far, though I still like it. I don't think that it would as well as any of them though.

13th-16th if it gets into a favourable semie, DNQ otherwise

5. Least favourite of the songs here, but I don't hate it. Would probably perform similarly to Miike Snow.

14th-17th if it gets into a favourable semie, DNQ otherwise

and here are our potential entries

Lina Morgana - Wonderland

RaVaughn - Revolver

Alice Svensson - Lady Luck

Alcazar -   But TBH I can't see it doing that well, 16th-20th in the final :(

DJ Ella - Great production but not that catchy IMHO. Reminds me of an Eastern European Gaga though, which isn't bad :kink:

YENN - I'm a sucker for Asian singers  Well written, good production (very RedOne esque), my pic so far :)

Miike Snow - Nice, if a bit overlong. Great arrangement, as TiP says should pull the indies votes, but I think it has enough pop appeal for that lot too :) Dub a Jay-Z accapella over the instrumental bit, and you'll have all bases covered :kink:

John ME - Hang on, all the last three mention remedies or medicine. You really want to send Little Boots don't you? :kink: I like this, a bit of a Killers feeling too it, but I don't know if it would be that successful. It's also a bit like one of my potential entries (the one that, um, hasn't leaked yet :kink:)

Hope that helps :)

forget them all...it's time that you founnd a loophole to send this

Oh, I really do want to send Remedy but my mission statement won't let me :snif: Anyway, thank you for both your comments, and I shall review your songs tomorrow CR! :cheer:

Oh Rich, I would but we both know that I can't! :snif: Let's just wait until the remixes spin-off and see if we can sneak it in under the relaxed rules proviso and pass off a mash-up as a remix :kink:
maybe the loophole is that seeing as la Perrelli contributes no vocals to the song, it is legitimate :P

1-Alcazar sounds too-dated...it would have been perfect 2 or 3 contests ago and I doubt will be contender for a win...low top 10 at the best.

2-Dj Ella---amazing nd up-to-date :P...something that I would sent myself...which means this won't win :heehee:

3-Yenn---another gorgeous song and my only hope for this one is to be entered before Jan 2010

4-Milke Snow---sounds alright...might be a grower but I can't see this one doing wonders and mainly bring you 4th after DSQ

5-John Me---:puke: seriosly I don't have nothing to say about this one.

if you're implying that I only like Alcazar because it was in MF, you'll note that I gave nothing to Marie Serneholt yesterday (completely average to me) :P

Not at all - it isn't much of a coincidence though methinks that basically everyone who follows MF adores Alcazar though

XVI (or XVII now considering) is hardly dated Addy

:heehee: maybe not...the thing is that in XV/XVI I was considering sending them but of course I couldn't do that cause I was against ESC-rejects :heehee:

Yeah...why exactly were you against them?

just because I wanted to disagree with you :P

lol joking...anyway I hardly enjoy ESC rejects with some exceptions (Alcazar or Agnes)

1, I find Alacazar bit of a risk, I always see them as a very camp band

2, Not exactly my cup of tea, it could end up DNQ

3, Now this is really good and catchy, I quite like it got potential to be top 10 in the final

4. This falls into my bracket music wise, which has got potential and a grower and could do very well in the final.

5. This could end up DNQ, its ok-ish but I think its nothing special.

Here are my contenders 3 acts, but 4 tracks in total.

1. Mr. Hudson - There will Be Tears

2. Mr. Hudson - White Lies

3. Twiggy Frostbite - Heroes

4. Nerina Pallot - Real Late Starter

DALISSKA // It's alright but I don't see it doing well at all :( It doesn't seem like the sort of thing that would attract many votes aside from maybe Camdonia and Zechonia if they both return for XIX...but still, you don't seem to care so I'd say go for it! ^_^

LIEVANT // Lisa Morgana / Hmm, 'tis a tad subtle methinks. Nice and brooding track, but I don't think it would really do much in the BJSC...could end up DNQ'ing unfortunately :(

RaVaughn / Now THIS is more like it :o This sounds very Kristinia DeBarge actually...I would definitely go with this, it sounds like a surefire top ten if not a winner!

Alice Svensson / This is very 'Walk Like Me', Dalisska entry for XVII which came just outside the top ten...it's quite nice but I don't think it would do amazingly well.

DEFINITELY RaVaughn. If you don't send it I will :o

KYLIENIPS // Mr Hudson / There Will Be Tears / I can't see this one doing much...it's nice, but again seems a bit too subtle to really do anything. I could see people saying that this one 'doesn't go anywhere' or comments of that nature. Would probably DNQ...

White Lies / This one's a LOT better. A stronger backing track, and generally more punchy instrumentation. Lovely arrangement :o  The chorus does sound like it could really split opinion though...I reckon this one could easily qualify, but I've no idea how it would do in the final.

Twiggy Frostbite / Again, sounds too subtle to really do well. Her voice isn't really up to much either, she sounds like she has cotton balls in her cheeks or something  Don't think this would qualify, it's quite forgettable...

Nerina Pallot / This sounds VERY Natasha Bedingfield actually! I don't think this would so as well as HDIBSAB did, but then again I didn't think that would do as well as it did either! The song itself sounds like Mika's duller moments on his debut album (i.e. not a million miles away from My Interpretation), but it really does vary throughout the song (i.e. the part from 1:30 onwards is really quite good :o). This one would be quite a risk but it could pay off big...

I reckon either Nerina or Mr Hudson - White Lies then :funky:
