Well if everyone's ranking

1. Series 4

2. Series 2

3. Series 1

4. Series 3

5. Series 5

With the exception of the opening episode, S4 was perfect. 3 & 5 suffered from having a few too many bad episodes, 3 had some absoulute blinders though. 1 & 2 obviously were brilliant, I failed at times to warm to Rose though.

Overnight ratings are so bad! 5.13: The Big Bang - Overnight: 5.1m (31.2%)

Usually series finales do great

Overnights are so unimportant for this series. Really annoying people are trying to use them against the series.

The timeshift has been huge for each episode. The initial ratings don't mean a thing anymore.

Because she's largely from The Doctors future. Moffat's clearly having fun playing around with personal timelines.

what future? surely the dr is a timelord therefore has no future nor past...

Huh? He does have a future. From his point though. He ages after all too...
The Doctor has his own timeline. He is a Time Lord but doesn't mean he was born time-travelling.
LOL! That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen... Of course he has a future, he REGENERATES ffs, he has a lifespan, but something due to his time travelling things happen in the wrong order sometimes.. It makes perfect sense.
I thought it was a great finale but overall it was a pretty weak series. Most episodes I just found completely boring which is a shame because I think Matt Smith is an excellent Doctor, just really poor stories. Hopefully next series is an improvement.

TBH

Smith > Tennant >>>>>> Eccleston

But the first two are very close :o

And now the girls...

Rose >>>>>>> Amy > Donna >>>>>>>>> Martha

Nonsense Rob... He's a Timelord, sure, but many stories (past and present) have focussed on his past on Galifrey... Remember, he STOLE the TARDIS..... The Doctor almost certainly has a timeline....

Smith > Ecclestone >>> Tennant

Amy >>>>> Donna > Martha > Rose

They've all been great, though :P

At the moment: Tennant > Smith >>>> Eccleston, but with Smith becoming more and more himself he has the potential to better Tennant.

Rose and Amy are equal for me tbh. Then Donna, and Martha is about 600000 miles away.

anddddddd... Smith > Tennant posts have begun

What is wrong with them?

Early appearance for Arthur Darville who plays Rory here, then

he was called Tom.

  • 1 month later...
Series 6 is going to be split into 2 blocks, the first starting next spring and ending on a cliff hanger and the second block starting in the autumn.
