Surprised there isn't a topic yet (or I must be blind :lol: )! Anyway, after 8 (!) years Maxwell is back with a new album. Big question is of course, is the album worth waiting for that long? Though I haven't waited that long, I did buy the album last week. And I can say it's a great album! Smooth, but not to smooth! Only negative thing I can say about it is the length of the album (just 37 minutes..)..Deserved the #1! And thanks to the album 'Pretty wings' grew even more on me!

 

Curious to know what your opnions are!

"Pretty Wings" is a classic, now. I'd be inclined to say it might be my favourite song of 2009 so far. The entire album, however, is just a masterpiece. I can't name a track I don't really like on the record. Album of the year, no question. This is smooth, soulful R&B at it's best.

I'm so glad i'm not the only one around here who loves the album I don't know if it's going to be my album of the year, but it has a BIG chance ending inside the top 3!

I need to get this, Maxwell is one of my fave artists, my boyfriend would love it.
