Thanks Sunday - What was the theme BTW?

But, Rob da Bank and the organisers know their stuff and the line-up knitted together pretty well – enough for the kids, the hip student brigade, the Q and Mojo reading parents, and the party animals. Rock, folk, electro pop, indie, blues, country, funk, rap, dub, reggae and dance, all provide something for everyone. As well as this, there’s ample DJ action with everyone from Annie Mac and Zane Lowe, through to Yoda and the Scratch Perverts.

Absolutely. I said the same thing myself the other day. :D All the organisers know who they can 'trust' to entertain and why, I suspect, Will has been given a 5 year invite to Glastonbury.

Safeconcerts Fanstastic review..

It seemed that the whole of Camp Bestival had gathered to see Will Young in action and the crowd was immense, stretching way back to the castle steps. Will graced the stage in a magnificent ringmasters coat complete with top-hat and boots and immediately the most perfect set began. He has always impressed with his incredible voice and down to earth nature, but he made an instant connection with the crowd as he announced that he had become a fashion victim and was being rapidly hampered by his boots! One slight adjustment later and he was back in business, with his boots unzipped.

Will Young's unique, powerful and stunning vocal ability is apparent from the first note and the guy can do no wrong. He stormed his way through a perfectly delivered, crowd pleasing set that leaves no-one in doubt that they have been in the presence of a tremendous talent. This was a real stand out performance from an artist that's got what it takes to entertain a diverse crowd in a festival setting, a worthy choice for Camp Bestival and a great platform for Will to show exactly what he can do.

Brilliant :yahoo: thanks Derren.

That's a fantastic review of Bestival from Safeconcerts, :yahoo: I reckon he'll be a regular there as well as Glastonbury now.
Thanks for bringing that brilliant review over SWF. Rarely have I seen such a good one. :cheer: Do you think a copy should be sent to Radio 1 and their nobodies? :naughty:
