THROWING FINALS

Welcome back to the throwing! We're over to the discus first and after double world champions Elёdan faultered in the semis, it really is anyone's guess as to who will win the medals. The hosts also fell out in their heat, but the crowd today have all their hopes pinned on shotput glory!

:o And finally! It's a medal for 6 time BJSC champions Mdiče, as they take gold! Sangria and Torchwood also score their first medals of the tournament, with Liechenstaan and Hendinia narrowly missing out :(.

Now onto the event the home crowd have been waiting for, the Shot Put! An intense battle with world champions Elёdan is expected

And it's silver for the hosts :yahoo: losing out to the champs by 1 cm, with Xanaga getting their first medal a further 5cm behind!

Now over to the javelin. Can Tinnmark's hunk scrape a medal :kink:?

Alas, fourth place for Tinnmark, as Hendinia score their first gold! To move up to third on the medals table! It's a first score for Skall and Lievant in a very close battle. Now let's have a look at the all important, medal table!

Gold = 3pts
Silver = 2pts
Bronze = 1pt

And a strong showing from Elёdan has displaced leaders Kopečka :o, but can they get their revenge in the two table tennis events coming up later :o?

Darn :( This started very well for Numayania, and it's rapidly going south... like what usually happens in BJSC :lol:

Welcome to Table Tennis, where we'll kick off with the singles. There are still three countries without medals and I Gotta Feeling that they may all score here :kink:. Table Tennis is quite wide open and nobody dominates the event like the Chinese, but unfortunatley, China is in eligeble for the BJO on the basis of being a real country. There's not much hope of home success here, so the crowd won't be too dissappointed when we lose :kink:

And it's Kingdom of Shadow who get their first gold! Ahead of fellow BJSC winners Herzebania, Liechenstaan get a second bronze and will be hoping a big medal's not too far around the corner! It was a thrilling final in which KOS rolled out 45-43 winners, Liechenstaan took bronze from Quotosibb in a less intense 21-15 match

:o Lorikeet finally score, meaning, everyone has a medal :cheer:! Numayania get their first since day 1 and Tinmark get their second bronze, to move onto five points and joint third with Hendinia. But the main story of the day is no medals for Kopečka and new leaders in Elёdan.
