Nothing REALLY strikes me as being a single on the album although, I shall say at this moment in time I am expecting it to be: 2nd single: My Propeller 3rd single: Pretty Visitors 4th single: Cornerstone (if there's a 4th single. Cornerstone could be a good shout for 2nd single as well imo)

'Cornerstone' is the closest thing to a 'Mardy Bum' or 'Fluorescent Adolescent' on the album, although mabe they won't release something so predictable. I guess 'My Propellor' would be a pretty good choice too. I think 'Pretty Visitors' pretty much has to be a single, surely?
August 4, 200915 yr Author I'm sure Pretty Visitors will be a single. I'm expecting them to release a 'lighter' song though, as that would really reflect the album. And Cornerstone and My Propeller are the most commercial songs out of the softers songs imo.
August 5, 200915 yr 02 Cornerstone Don't think they'll release anything else. Reckon that well get about top 10 with a good video. I wouldn't be surprised if they released 'The Jeweller's Hands' third on limited release or something though. I really cannot wait to hear the b-sides to this record though, I reckon a lot of the Josh Homme tracks are already out there so I think so more James Ford tracks are still to be released which I can't wait to hear. :wub:
August 5, 200915 yr 2nd Secret Door 3rd Pretty Visitors Maybe in reverse order there but I think PV could be the single for the fans to get the casual fan to buy it and Secret Door (or maybe Cornerstone) could be the 'radio friendly' single.
