I think it's a good way of doing it, tbh. There's now no excuse other than a $h!t song if you don't qualify/do well. The days of having the death slot (#2) are OVAH. :cheer:

That's what I thought at first, but people will vote for the song they like when they're watching them, so I guess it's kinda equal all round. :)

In Norway we use this system in Idol, X Factor, Dance With The Stars..

Great news, I think ... should really improve the consistency of the results! Except some of the novelty songs might get some drunk 'omg that was amazing!' votes...

hopefully the novelty songs won't make it to the final in the first place seeing as the juries will have equal say in the semis!

 

if people love the first song and all rush to vote for it, they're not going to rush to pay again to vote for the other 25 songs they haven't heard yet so it seems a bit risky to me...not that I've seen of any evidence to prove or disprove how fair it is

People who vote early probably vote because they know all the songs or always vote for the country :P
