Looks kinda good. I mean, the plot is interesting. It's kinda the subject which freaks me out the most. I almost got sick watching the Columbine CCTV footage, not because it was scary, but because it was just so twisted. The same with Beslan, Dunblane, Jokela, Virginia Tech etc.

 

Anybody seen it? I know these movies are usually big let-downs, but I'd like to see it.

 

 

I've seen it, if your watching it because it's a Gus Van Sant film you'll enjoy it. If your watching it for an interest in the murders; it's probably not the best film. The film just follows a bunch of characters who one way in other are linked to the murders whether they get murdered, are the murderers or witness murders. It's very Gus Van Sant.

It's the subject I'm more interested in than the actual murders themselves. Any form of school "terrorism", regardless if it results in death, really gets my attention. Gus Van Sant did My Own Private Idaho which I really liked, so I guess I might like this. I ordered it today, so I'll give my verdict when I get around to watching it next week. :D

It's unsensationalist, and relatively free of exploitation.. It's a very sober, mature and pretty damn realistic look at how these kinds of things can happen.... So, in other words, not some kind of dumbass Yank "teen movie"... Put it this way, it sure an hell aint "Mean Girls"... Which is a recommendation in itself IMO.....

I saw this last week. Pretty freakin' good IMO. I must admit though, I did get a bit confused when it started going back and forth, but it was very good all the same. Definitely watch it again some time. :D
