August 28, 200915 yr Author Kristian Vader; Today is a writing day .. what am I working on ..? new song for Boyzone and some new track suggestions for Anastacia"" So plans for the next album have already begun.
August 29, 200915 yr What the hell is wrong with that woman (Anastacia), not being able to write her own material... We have seen she is a good songwriter, and on the albums she wrote (almost) all tracks, she was most succesful. Keep it realy honey.
August 29, 200915 yr i guess she keeps her options open. so far they are suggestions only. it doesnt mean she is gonna use them :P
August 30, 200915 yr there is nothing wrong with getting other writers in, she could always change the lyrics
September 1, 200915 yr There is nothing wrong with them helping her, but not her helping them.. If you understand? I wanna hear her sing what SHE feels
September 2, 200915 yr Author Anastacia begins work on 5th Album US singing sensation Anastacia has begun work on her 5th studio album since Heavy Rotation, due to be released next year. 'Heavy Rotation' recieved a mixed reception from critics, but was a commercial failure within the charts, being her first album ever to do so (to date, it has sold 330,000 copies worldwide). But her 5th album is sure to repay homage to the multi-platinum 'Anastacia' album, released in 2004. In a recent interview she stated, "In doing the fourth album, I didn't quite know that I wanted to do rock, because I thought maybe it would remind my fans of my cancer. I got worried of bringing them back to a time that was so sad, so I didn't really put too much rock in this last album (Heavy Rotation), that's not really what my choice would be from the future". As well as not being a hit with the critics, it was also poorly received by many of her fans. "From what I hear", she continues, "they're (the fans) like, 'we want it again!" and I'm like, "Okay! So for sure sure, I'll give them more rock!" she smiles. At this moment, singer Anastacia is currently on tour, doing live shows round Europe & Asia in aid of 'Heavy Rotation'. During Romania, she opened the show with a more edgy rendition of the Mark Ronson-esque 'The Way I See It', prehaps hinting at the start of a return back to her 2004-album sound. Interestingly, there have been few reports on the situation between her and her new record label, Mercury [universal]. In a German interview she stated, "I've got the feeling that my record label chose the wrong songs, they don't represent the record and they are nothing like what my fans expect from me." The end of 2009 sees an Anastacia, slowly reinventing herself back to her old image, the hair is grown back, the toned stomach is out, the glasses are on. Hopefully, the music will make it's way back to as we make our way into 2010. BuzzJack
September 8, 200915 yr Author How d'you know? She's even said so  "I was trying to survive cancer and the rock music helped me to feel the power that i needed at that time. and so in writing the next album even though it was 4 years later I didn't wanna go back there yet, but now that i've written the album I can't wait to write the next album and throw some rock music all over it! It's a normal thing for us in life, we can live with breast cancer in our lives, we can survive from breast cancer very easily but as long as you are aware and are not too scared of it and you go to have mammograns and you have tests, that's really the important part is to just not be ignorant: "If it's not in my family, and it's not, you know, in my heritage then I don't have to worry about it." It's not that way anymore in the world it's environmental and stress related for us women."
