Great last ep...love Bonnie being around more

Fantastic episode! Cant even name the amount of plots that were advanced in this episode, the pace is incredible. I just wonder how the writers can keep up the pace, especially now that Katherine has been (temporarily) stopped. Gosh I loved her, she looked amazing and kept the great lines coming. I love how she always has many backup plans in case one fails. I liked her frenemie Lucy, we'll probably see her again. Liking Bonnie again, finally.

 

Cant wait for more :D

My only guess is

Katherine's Maker, I forgot his name but he appears in the books....however I think he appears after they kill Katherine so it might not be him

Could be him, because Katherine is so loved as a badie that perhaps they decided to put off killing her and introduce her maker anyways.

is also the name of a new female vamp in town

Enjoyed the episode, not as thrilling as last week's, but then that was expected. The good thing about the show is that even the slower episodes move the plot along and never bore me.

 

Really enjoyed the new vamp blood in town. I liked Bela in SN (must be one of the few) so I didn't have any preconceptions about Lauren joining the show - I think she did a good job with her scenes, and I especially liked her friendship with Trevor, her reaction when he was killed was on point. Maybe Rose will join the brothers from now on to guide them on some vamp history. Now, can we get Katie Cassidy on the show too please?

 

Elisha was a great addition as a big bad, I think he'll be the one that forces the brothers to build a bridge with Katherine and work with her to "protect" Elena. That beheading scene was awesome and gruesome at the same time. Him sniffing Elena was creepy, props to Nina for playing her scenes so well, I was scared for her too. I'm not sure if Elisha still wants Katherine, I got the impression Elena was just "the next best thing"? I can't wait for more Katherine flashbacks, her history as a vampire seems to be incredible and filled with adventure and mystery. Are the Originals older than Elisha? Or is he one of them? And we know the name of the ultimate big bad: Klaus.

 

Really enjoyed the Stefan & Damon scenes, I do like the brothers bonding together, one of the pillars of the show. Which brings me to my next point, I really don't want the triangle to ruin things, but I'm trusting the writers that if it gets there, they'll handle it well. I still don't feel that Damon's love for Elena is reciprocal, maybe an attraction, an intrigue, but not love.

 

Jeremy and Bonnie were great together - I can see why some people would feel bothered by this relationship since he's supposedly Elena's "baby brother", but I assume he's just 1 or 2 years younger than Bonnie. Speaking of Bonnie, really loving her again - that's what happens when the writers spend a little more time developing her character, adding layers, and not sending her elsewhere offscreen for most of the show. I do feel we're heading towards a Bonnie "meltdown" with all the magic that the brothers keep wanting her to do, she needs to slow down. Maybe Lucy can join her soon?

 

Caroline and Tyler were great, I've really come to enjoy their scenes together. Let's face it, Caroline is great with pretty much everyone on this show. I like how they relate because they have the "new to the supernatural world" connection, and I can't wait to see more of them. I just hope Caroline doesn't get hurt in the process.

Wow a bit of a revealing episode.

 

Tyler/Caroline was a good mix. Also enjoyed how they showed that Bonnie isn't without a weakness.

 

The introduction of the Originals was cool, can't wait to met Klaus though as he sounds like he'll really cause some havoc.

Thank goodness those two new warlocks are probably evil. So they can get killed and Bonnie and Jeremy can get together again...

 

It doesn't look good for Bonnie though.....both of Jeremy's past girlfriends are dead (real dead :P) as dodos...:(

 

Although Bonnie being a main character has much more of a chance....and she's not technically his girlfriend yet I suppose.

This episode just proved to me that Katherine was always a badass, even as a human. Her family is her weakness, I wonder if she'll become fonder of Elena as time goes on? Either way, they should never kill Kat.

Liking Rose, liking Elijah's badassness - though they better not overpower him too much. Not feeling Luka and his dad. Caroline/Stefan are great together

Last ep was great. Can't wait to see what happens now that everything is slowly being pieced together

Finally after a whole month of waiting. The Sacrifice was a great ep. Did not expect Elijah to just let them go.

 

Stupid Jeremy of course had to ruin everything.

 

It's been an awesome first half to the season, can't wait to see how the rest of it unfolds.

That's a no-brainer, unless for some reason the CW closes which I don't think it'll happen yet.

I really liked this episode....so many exciting developments.

 

 

The whole time I was annoyed over Caroline being so close to Tyler while he was changing...cause I thought she'd be bitten and die. However when I saw Rose get bit and survive it calmed me down a little.....but now Rose's bite is developing and by the looks of the promo for the next episode she has dementia and is pretty much going out of her mind. Now I'm worried for Caroline again! :drama: Hope Rose is ok. :(

Wow great ep. So many mini story lines all building into one.

 

Totally called that the bite would make Rose sick or something. Really like the angle they've gone with using Elijah. Interesting to see their take on a werewolf change. Can't wait to see the next ep but it think it's gonna be a long wait :(
