I'm not going to watch any trailers and am going to wait until the weekend. I am so excited! It's been a fantastic season and I only hope Season 2 continues to be as brilliant. I hope Uncle John snuffs it the dirty skank. I have a HUGE problem with the actor more the character I suppose but bleh.

I think Caroline would be great as vampire too, she definitely can be bitchy when she wants to, so she'd fit right in :lol:

 

It would also be interesting to see her mothers reaction to Caroline being a vampire......would she be able to kill her own daughter? :o

Fantastic Episode, although I'm gutted that Anna died (and because of that monster John! :angry: ) at the very least he got his comeuppance in the end.

 

But I would never I guessed it was Katherine who would show up and kill him, my jaw literally hit the floor when she chopped his fingers off. I completely forgot Katherine existed and I thought Elena had gone evil bitch psycho on us. :P Can't wait to see Elena meet Katherine. :D

 

I like how they left Jeremy on a cliff hanger although he probably will become a vamp.....I hope he does. This whole "oh I'm a so pure human It's the right thing to live out my life as a normal being la la la la" annoys me very much. <_<

 

Still gutted Anna died, and so early! She barely made fifteen minutes! :cry:

I literally lost count of the 'OMFG' moments. There was like 7 in a row at one stage!

Lol as if Elena would reciprocate Damon's kiss at this point, there would be an outrage and her image would be tainted with most people. Plus how she looked at Jenna completely feeling unashamed and actually bothered that she interrupted them, and how she didn't want to talk. I was getting the signs, but I just needed the confirmation, which we got in the end. Props to Nina though, superb acting. The subtle differences between Elena and Katherine when she acts them out are perfect, even the way she speaks and walks are different, and her mannerisms too

 

Looks like the Queen Bitch is back in town :D

I get the feeling Elena will be too occupied by her dead father (I'm fairly certain Katherine will have finished him off even if we didn't actually see complete confirmation of his death) and forget about Jeremey.

 

By the time she does notice it'll probably be too late and she'll be all like "why didn't I notice sooner!?" and cry alot. Well your dad did just die I think that counts as a reason.....

 

It'd be interesting to see Jeremy as a vampire.....it's kinda cool how he'd have the last part of Anna inside him forever :wub:

That was one of the best episodes of tele I've ever seen, it was just epic, I was on edge and had tears in my eyes almost throughout (yes sad I know ha)

 

Devastated that Anna died but It was so obvious she would. I like the fact it always leaves us with cliffhangers, like will Caroline die? will Jeremy turn? And now with Katherine back. I'm also really interested to see Tyler and the werewolf thing develop!

 

It definatley is my favourite show now. I just don't know how I'm going to cope for however long til Season 2.

That was one epic finale, near perfect actually. Talk about a fantastic first season.

 

I loved that Elena is loyal to Stefan and that she made it clear that it was with him she was in love with. Plus she was trying to fix her relationship with Jeremy, I like how she tries to fix everything. I wonder how she will feel if he dies, poor Elena.

 

Damon going all softy was unexpected, they seem to be trying to redeem him. I liked his last scene with Jeremy,and his scene with Bonnie. Speaking of Bonnie, damn the girl is one powerful witch. The Salvatores definitely took her threat seriously. I did like how she saved them, but warned them about killing innocent people.

 

Uncle John was a total douche, I actually like the Sheriff, she's a nice cop. I hated how he killed Anna with no mercy, but I was sorta expecting it. I liked Anna, but she was just Jeremy's girlfriend at this point without her mother, and storylines would be scarce. Plus her dying is the extra push to make Jeremy wanna turn.

 

And of course the highlight was the Queen Vamp herself Katherine making her return. It took a while to figure out it was her, but when she kissed Damon back, especially that way, I knew something was off. If it were Elena she would come across as a skanky bitch, just after she made that whole speech to Stefan. Upon rewatching, I noticed her clothes were slightly different to Elena's, plus no necklass. And Katherine's scene with Jenna was definitely what made me suspicious something was off. Her cuting Uncle Ass' fingers was mind blowing, did not expecting it. I assume the guy is definitely a gonner.

 

The last scene was intense, definitely will be a Elena meets Katherine next season premiere.

 

 

All in all, fabulous episode!

I sort of thought that somehow when Tyler like 'came back to life' he transferred his death or whatever to Caroline? She dropped as soon as he opened his eyes...

I kept yelling at the screen for someone to kill Uncle Asswipe for the entire episode so thank god it finally happened! I couldn't believe it when they just left the cliffhanger there though. 4 Months!!! :(

 

Jeremy as a vampire and the whole werewolf thing and I really love Bonnie more than ever and of course Katherine. She really is one unhinged bitch/ I also hope Jenna gets some more screen time next year as I really like her and she is very under-used.

 

 

Overall 100/10 :heehee: Let's hope Supernatural's finale can give me the same pleasure :kink:

Does anyone else think that the whole Jeremy/Anna thing was more interesting than Elena/Damon/Stephen? Jeremy and Anna's relationship was alot more entertaining for me. and now it's gone forever :(

 

Jeremy is my favourite character in the show now that Anna is gone (which is strange cause I don't usually have many guy favourites :P) But I must also warn everyone that all of my favourites suffer a dismal faith (e.g death) so it doesn't look good for Jeremy :(

 

The only show I can have favourites in without fear of the "dismal fate" curse is Glee :P

 

I also hope Jenna gets some more screen time next year as I really like her and she is very under-used.

Well they didn't really kill off any of the main cast [as in they're dead for good] like we were expecting. Anna was great and all but she wasn't really a 'main' character in the same essence the inner circle are. And the mayor. Well it was hard to care for his death seems as he was hardly featured and was a stuck up ijit anyway.

 

I just see a lot of potential in Jenna's character though I'm unsure whether the actress is naturally wooden and dull or whether that's down to her potrayal of the character/lack of anything to sink her teeth into. I mean the Alaric romance seemed to cool off a bit once he found out his crazy vampire wife was Elena's mother.

I don't think it would make alot of sense if Jeremy didn't become a vampire now, he'd still be depressed and empty....I doubt they'd save him and all of a sudden he'd be like "wait a second, my life is swell!". So I can't see where else his character can go apart from becoming a vampire or being killed off completely. Also I don't feeling they would have had such an overly dramatic scene with him taking pills and vampire blood only for him to be saved in the seconds series. Plus remember who's blood it is that he drank....Anna's that could have some significance towards him becoming a vampire with a piece of Anna inside him rather than if it was just some random persons blood. (where it wouldn't really matter if he was saved from becoming a vampire.)

 

I have a feeling Elena will be too distracted by her dead father and forget about Jeremy until it's too late. (I'd laugh so hard though if she looked in the door and was like:

 

Elena: Jeremy....we need to talk

Jeremy:...........

Elena: Jeremy....please

Jeremy:...........

Elena: Fine!......you know what I tried but if you're going to be like this then I'm through! *slams door*

Jeremy:...........

 

Or if she was like "aww he's sleeping I better not wake him up"

 

I'd imagine Katherine probably compelled Jenna rather than knocking her out :P

Hey gimme a break like :P I was psyched after the episode and wrote a load of jibberish lol.

I just for some reason had the major characters down as Elena, Stefan, Damon, Jeremy, Bonnie, Caroline, Matt, Tyler and Jenna. Possibly Alaric. Anna always felt like one of those recurring characters they introduce to move the plot along but always has a short shelf life. I predicted long before the finale that she'd snuff it especially after what happened to her mother.

Yeah it did feel very True Blood in which they closed the chapter on the whole tombed vampire business and then had some scenes establishing a new arc and then cut off at that exact point. It's a great tactic though at least with TVD we don't have to wait double the time for it to be resolved :lol:
